回顾电脑特效的历史，早在1963年，就有了第一部电脑影片，1969年出现世界第一部用电脑影像完成的广告片，1973年第一部电脑2D动画《West World》面市，电影界也逐步把各种电脑效果，少量地应用在电影当中，例如电影《星球大战》即是例子之一。
