The Review of Braveheart

I am deeply impressed by William Wallace’s courage and the efforts that the Scottish created to resume soverienty.It reminds me of my dream.Dream,whatever it is,really should be pursued heart and soul.Compared to Wallace,I am so lazy and passive.I watched it,giving free outlet to my thoughts and tears.

There are two scenes over which I really feel melancholy.The initial is when Meilun is buried. The same point happened when Wallace was yong,weeping at the death of his father.Tiny Meilun sent him a purple thistle .to console his sorrow.Even so,Meilun is dead now,no a single would send him a purple thist any much more.He has only himself in this world following losing the two persons he loves most.The second one particular is the very first war against England in the battlefield.,in which they were much weaker in regard to weapons and numbers.Confronted with immense difficulties,they had been not afaid,thinking we would drop.Instead,they fighted bravely and confidently.

Life will not usually be what we want. Wallace’s father died when he was a small boy.He did not want this tragedy transpire but it did take place,so he had to accept it；when his uncle came and would part him with his hometown,he obeyed with reluctance；moreover,his heart was broken facing the death of Meilan,but he had to accept it and be strong.Adversity leads to prosperity on situation that we can turn sorrow into strength.

Much as what is stated above,courage alone won’t guarantee success.Wallace’s uncle informed him :”you have to find out to use your thoughts,then weapons.”Being flexiable and conscious is even more critical,that is to say ,you know how to obtain your goal prior to you take actions.Additionally,it is worth notifying that pals are also extremely important in the pursue of dream.A life devoid of a pal is a life with out a sun.Wallace has Hamiss,who accompanied him to the end.

and let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life,
complaining that A Gan shouldn't save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing
with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gan's help. The movie is
intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always
after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to
ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do
well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if
only there is perseverance.
Ice Age 冰河世纪 英语影评
It’s not particularly surprising to be disappointed by any computer-animated film not bearing the Pixar logo. In fact, until Shrek, 2001’s rollicking success, I wouldn’t have even believed it could happen. What is surprising, is that Ice Age doesn’t even ATTEMPT to reach Pixar’s Toy Story heights, apparently content to revel in its status as Monster’s, Inc.'s second rate, half wit cousin.
Ice Age is yet another “extinction for kids” movie, one of many in a long line of baby dinosaurs, pterodactyl eggs, and sympathetic cavemen. This time, it’s the ice age, and wooly mammoths roam the earth alongside primitive man. Strangely enough, in this early world, animals can talk, and humans cannot. But when a group of would-be-enemies discover a lost human baby, wooly mammoth (Ray Romano), saber-toothed tiger (Dennis Leary), and giant sloth (John Leguizamo) must work along side each other in a journey to return the child to its home.
Visually, Ice Age is perhaps the poorest bit of CGI I have ever seen. Contrasted to the beautiful constructs of Monsters, Inc.; or even the gooey, gloppy creativity of Shrek; Ice Age is nothing but badly rendered polygons and Acme animated characters. No hint of photo-realism here. It’s like comparing a Bugs Bunny Cartoon to The Lion King. Actually, I suspect that is exactly what the folks at Ice Age were going for.
Ice Age is really little more than a collection of silly animal gags and Leguizamo one liners. Some of them are even quite funny. If that is all that we’re going for here, then I suppose I’m all for it. But then there are these strange attempts at gut wrenching sappiness, which fall painfully flat amidst sub-video game animation. Frankly, I’m not even sure the CGI they use here is up to the task of displaying the kinds of emotions these people are trying to illicit from their characters. The humans more closely resemble totem poles than they do living, breathing, creatures. It’s laughable watching their polygon-limited faces trying to emote in response to the story’s attempts at heartfelt, soft touches.
Thankfully, the main characters are animals, which are at least bearably rendered to slapstick fun levels. As a result, what slapstick there is, is highly entertaining. Sure, Ray Romano’s vocal talents aren’t particularly spectacular. But Dennis Leary and the always-odd John Leguizamo cover for his mammoth ineptitude without hesitation.
The story itself is bland, boring, and uninspired, as is the almost laughably bad animation. The film’s only real saving graces are some slapstick side trips into the world of an unlucky squirrel and a group of soon-to-be-extinct melon-hoarding dodos. Ice Age’s comedy is worthy of Bugs, but unless you’re under 5, you’ll be bored with everything else.

This should've gone straight to video. Evan Almighty was not able to manage the expectations of those who came to see it anticipating as riotous a ride as its predecessor Bruce Almighty. It retained the premise of the original as a spin-off but it doesn't work not because Steve Carell is less talented than Jim Carrey but because he had lousy material to work with. Even Morgan Freeman (who reprises his role as God) lost the zing and impressive qualities he had in the first installment.
Evan Almighty apparently targets a family audience with its decidedly more religious overtones (check out what ARK really means), so it shouldn't have attempted to fool the audience by maintaining the Almighty franchise because it doesn't fit; its brand of humor and story simply failed to keep up.
It would've probably done better if it were marketed differently instead of lazily riding on the success of Bruce Almighty when it painfully couldn't deliver the same punches.

主人公鲁宾孙从小便有出海远行的梦想。后来他有幸成为了一名海员，但在一天晚上，海面开始兴风作浪，在万分无奈下，船长将他撇在了一个孤岛上。他带着几支长枪与几只鸟枪在岛上独自生活了四年多。后来终于被一名善良的英国船长救上了船并带到了葡萄牙。由于我们这位主人公比较有商业头脑，便于其他几个伙计合资办了一个种植园。几年后，鲁宾孙再一次航海中再一次被大浪打入水中。全船上上下下所有人无一幸免，唯独鲁宾孙一人被搁浅在了浅滩上。幸运的事，主人公并没有孤立无援，因为那只船竟被海水冲回了沙滩上。尽管如此，鲁宾孙依然感到崩溃与绝望，毕竟在这个不知名的岛上，不知有多少困难与险阻在等着他。他曾想过自我了断，使自己长痛不如短痛，但是，生性并不是很悲观的他突然对继续活下去有了坚定的意识-----全船的人都尸骨无存，而他，除了受了一点轻伤，外加衣衫有些褴褛之外没有丝毫异状。因此他想，既然造物能使他逃过一劫，那也许以后的灾难上帝都会帮他使他挺过去。
从那天起，鲁宾孙便打算在此坚强地活下去。第二天，他将船上自己目前能用得着的东西都搬了下来，如：衣物、武器、多种工具、少量粮食、酒等必要物品。搬了一个多星期，他几乎已将船上所有用得着的东西都尽数搬了下来，尔后，他便开始筹划他今后将在岛上安居的日子。
就这样，鲁宾孙的性格便在这艰苦的逆境中被锤炼地愈加刚毅起来。一年，两年，三年.......鲁宾孙拥有了自己牢固坚实的住所，发展了属于他自己的农业圈，使他可以每年得到面包、羊奶、酒等丰富的粮食收入。此外，鲁宾孙在业余时间还经常阅读圣经，以次来培养人生观，有益身心。
鲁宾孙在岛上度过的日子一共历时35年，多么触目惊心的数字啊！虽然在第27年有了星期五（主人公曾经救过的野人）的加入，但孤岛上所有破天荒的东西全是鲁宾孙用双手创造出来的。
刚读完这本书的时候，我的脑子里不断地浮现着书中激动人心的片段。是啊！哪个人看了鲁宾孙岛上的基业不竖起大拇指呢？
仔细地回想：当初鲁宾孙刚流落到这个孤岛上的时候，情绪该是多么的滴落与崩溃啊！但是他相信自己，相信自己能够运用造物所给的智慧与双手去创造奇迹，创造属于自己的世外桃源。他成功了！他真的成功了！辛劳地付出后终究会有甜蜜的果实。本是贫瘠荒芜的孤岛，却在鲁宾孙这位圣人手下变得欣欣向荣，一派繁荣昌盛。一双手，只凭着一颗坚韧不拔、持之以恒的心，创造出了十双手都尚可未及的奇迹。啊！鲁宾孙........
鲁宾孙给我的启示是：一个人，在危难的时刻，只要对自己有信心，愿意凭着求生的本能去营造一切，最终还是会有奇迹发生的。

初读《鲁滨孙漂流记》还是在小学时代，他给我留下的记忆，仅仅是一个奇妙的路途故事和并非很有趣的语言。当我再一次翻开这本书时，才再一次对他有了新的体会。

《鲁滨孙漂流记》中的语言并不优美华丽或是生动形象，修辞或抒情更是难得一见，相反，小说的语言极其简明、实在，具体也是不缺少的，甚至流水账一般的记录每件工具的制作过程等等。但这种平实朴素的语言却与主人公——鲁滨孙的身份、背景等相契合，也突出了小说的风格。该小说再现了一种新语言——集中产阶级在日常生活和经营交易中使用的语言。

在《鲁滨孙漂流记》中，绝大部分的描写都是对于鲁滨孙的，小说成功地塑造了鲁滨孙这一人物。像其创造着一样，鲁滨孙是一个永不疲倦、用不安生的行动者，是个不断扩张、不断撷取的资本主义原始积累时期的典型产物。文中最吸引人也正是他典型的性格。

鲁滨孙不屑守成，倾心开拓，多次离家，出海闯天下。他遭遇海难，流落荒岛，却不坐叹命运不济，而是充分利用自己的头脑和双手，修建住所、种植粮食、驯养家畜、制造工具、缝纫衣服，把荒岛改造得井然有序，欣欣向荣。

Nearly twenty years since it was first released on the world, Steven Spielberg's 1982 sci-fi/fantasy masterpiece E.T.: THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL remains one of the greatest movies ever made. This is one of those films that makes us feel and think at the same time.

Its story of a very benign alien being accidentally left stranded on Earth and protected by a ten year-old boy (Henry Thomas) from government agents is so well known it doen't really have to be discussed. E.T. is, alternately, magical, fantastic, suspenseful, and sometimes even a bit terrifying. And sprinkled throughout the film are singular moments that really stand out as some of the most unforgettable scenes in cinematic history; by this time, I think we know what those are. For me, perhaps the most priceless scene is the introction between E.T. and Gertie (Drew Barrymore), where she screams her head off, It is one of the very few times where I've wanted to laugh and scream at the same time!

Spielberg's film, though scripted by Melissa Mathison, is almost painfully autobiographical, given what the director has said about his childhood. Like Spielberg, Thomas' character goes through life minus a father, even though his mother (Dee Wallace) does her best. He feels isolated and picked upon in school, as Spielberg frequently did. There is also plenty of religious symbolism that probably doesn't need any analysing and was probably unintentional. In any case, looking past the fact that it won four Oscars--for sound, sound effects editing, special effects, and John Williams' legendary music score--and has grossed over $1 billion, E.T. is a masterpiece of the cinema, pure and simple, and it will always be that way.

库伦家族进入大家视线的时候，我尚有些失望，可能是受吸血鬼骑士的蛊惑，总觉得还可以更俊美高贵些，但之后证实我错了，他们就是高贵的存在，不是血统，而是彼此那种亲密的感情。
贝拉和爱德华的初次相处还真是尴尬，他一副嫌恶的表情很是刺痛贝拉小小的自尊心。后来这被爱德华解释是因为无法拒绝她的味道，最甜美的血的诱惑。这让我想起了很久以前看到的一篇漫画，讲一个闻香师，可以闻到所有人身上独有的味道，然后配以合适的熏香为她们带来好运，但只有一个女孩子，他完全闻不出她的味道，但就是这一点，在这个女孩子被人绑架时使他救了她，之后他明白了，一个人与他注定的另一半，两者的味道会完全中和，因此就是鼻子最灵敏的闻香师也闻不出来。所以那时，贝拉和爱德华的命运已经交织在一起，纠缠着直至生死边缘。
我喜欢爱德华试图掩盖自己内心的表情，他努力寻找着合适的言语：“I feel very protective of you．”用一种固执的眼神看着眼前这个柔弱的人类。很简单，但是让人心动。那么困惑，他试探着表达：“I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore．”他冰冷的手，确是最温暖的一颗心，只是他不知该把它如何裸露在这个不够友好的世界。
贝拉发现爱德华的秘密的进程似乎有些过快，连爱上他都是那么迅速，难道是为了显示他身上承担的最漫长的时光。当贝拉念出他的身份，他像个悲伤而焦躁的野兽，吓唬她，称自己为monster，显示自己的力量，只是想要避免未来可能的伤害。贝拉的一句“I trust you”像清晨的柔光照亮那蜷缩在阴影中的畏惧的他。被主动的接近，被关怀，被融化。

之后两派吸血鬼为贝拉的争斗不想多说，只是不够强大但速度够快的爱德华到达受伤的贝拉身边，竭尽全力救她时让我揪心了一下。有那么一个机会，贝拉可以成为一个配得上那漫长生命的生物，但爱德华没有允许。最终的舞会上，璀璨的群星环绕着他们，爱德华只在贝拉的脖子上留下了一个深深地吻。这样不够么？和我幸福的过一辈子？
