刮痧英语读后感
When I was a freshman in college I watched the film Gua Sha Treatment for the first time, now I am a junior student and I come back to review the movie from a multicultural aspect, I have many different feelings after watching the film again.
At the beginning of the film, XuDatong is given an award and later he delivers a speech. What makes me impressed most is in his speech he says “one day I will become one of you, a truly successful American, today this award proved that America is a true land of opportunity and I am the living proof of that.” At that moment Xu thinks he has realized his American Dream totally with his lovingly wife and adorable son. However, I think it is ironical that to make a speech like that and I assume it is made on purpose to hind a clue for the story’s development. How many non-American people have such a beautiful American dream? One of my classmate studies in American now and before he went aboard he told me his American dream is he can stand at the top of the New York. To be honest, I also dream that one day I can get the Green Card living there happily and successfully maybe working at the Wall Street. When Xu gets the award he thinks he entirely melted in the melting pot neglecting the multicultural obstruct, later the plot goes against the way he thinks. And later Quinlan asked Xu ‘why you be the scapegoat of your father?’ Xu answers ‘because he is Chinese.’ Then maybe Xu knows that there is always a wide gap between Chinese and American cultures.
The second scene is Xu hit his son Denis because Denis hit the son of xu’s boss, at the middle of the film xu tells his boss that he hit his own son is only to show his respect to his boss John Quinlan, that time Quinlan feels puzzled “what a Chinese logic”, yes, American can never understand such a logic full of Chinese characteristic, because they respect everyone including the children, they won’t beat a child to please the boss, and there is no such a conception of degree between employee and employer, they feel everyone is equal, which is quite different from china.
Connected to the second scene, the third difference I want to analyze is the care for the children. In America, people pay more attention to the right of children which can be seen from the law—leaving children alone at home is illegal, while in China it is so common that almost everyone may experience such loneliness. And Children Welfare Agency does work in America which shows the importance Americans attach to children’s right. What’s more, I remember a line ‘No one won the case, especially the child.’ In my opinion, it also manifests the universal concern from the American public to the children.
The fourth aspect is following the procere, in the film, more than there times, the people focus on the rule, the law, the procere. At the Christmas Eve Xu wants to return back to his home pretending as a Santa Claus, what a pity, the security recognizes him and persuades ‘you are always a good tenement, never causes troubles for me.’ And another scene is at the end of the film , the judge says ‘I have to follow the procere.’ However, in China people always have to ask for a favor to do something, and later you have to pay back the favor ,for myself, I prefer the American style, strict to the procere.
The fifth and the last point is the humors, Quinlan says ‘you can’t fall, your health security is the company paid.’ ‘Datong, welcome home, maybe next time, you can come from the front door.’ ‘dady, why you come from the window’ ‘ because we don’t have a chimney.’ I really adore this distinguished American humor, especially in dangerous situations, which is quite rare in China.
That’s my whole reaction to Gua Sha Treatment.

Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. The film was passed to a intellectual disturbance person the description of life has reflected every aspect of U.S.A.'s life, important incident of social political life make and represent to these decades such as U.S.A. from one unique angle. Film adapt Winston · novel of the same name of Groom since. Only the original work is that one is full of fantastic novels with a satiric flavour, but the film modifies and beautifies the story. Have abandoned the absurdity of the original work and revealed that satirizes meaning , have added a kind of tender feeling for the film. This undoubtedly makes the film suit audience and judging panel's taste even more, but has sacrificed the struggle spirit of the rebel of the original work , make the film become one kind and idealize ethical symbol .
Forrest Gump mould incarnation of virtue is honest keeping one's word , conscientiously , brave paying attention to emotioning among film. In the film, Forrest Gump is a very pure image, but Jenny has become the degenerate symbol . And write the great discrepancy originally in this. To all that narrated, since beginning all behave with a kind of tender feeling and well-meaning attitude after all for the film, having even joined poesy composition, this makes the film seem soft and have no injury. The film advocates to traditional moral concept and embodiment. Make film apt to accept by people, director superb lay out skill and film application of language make the film very attractive too. Success with commercial for film content of the film has given security, and the treatment on director's art makes the film more excellent, this is reason that the film succeeds. 《勇敢的心》--观后感Set in the late 13th century, 'Braveheart' is the story of one of Scotland's greatest national heroes Sir William Wallace。 leader of the Scottish resistance forces ring the first years of the long, ultimately successful struggle to free Scotland from English rule。。。 Crucially charismatic in the title role, Gibson plays the heroic figure and emerges as a remarkable hero with wit and romantic soul, determined to rid his country of its English oppressors。。。 Wallace's revolution was set in motion, with great obstacles from his countrymen。。。 Many Scottish nobles lent him only grudging support as most of them were more concerned with wealth and titles than the freedom of the country。。。 In fact, the Scottish leaders are in favor of revolt-or not-depending on English bribes。。。 Wallace, by parison, is a man of honor, incorruptible and righteous。。。 He was knighted and proclaimed 'guardian and high protector of Scotland,' but as much as he railed against the Scottish no
bles, submitted to Edward I, King of England, he was astonished and in shock to discover the treachery of the leading Scot contender for the throne—Robert, the Earl of Bruce—to whom he confided , 'The people would follow you, if you would only lead them。' Sophie Marceau is exquisite as the distressed princeIsabella of France who ends up falling in love with Wallace, warning him out of several traps……Catherine McCormack is a stunning beauty who ignites Wallace's revolution……Patrick McGoohan is chilling, brutal, and vicious as the ruthleEdward I, known by the nickname 'Longshanks。' This king remains simply the embodiment of evil……While Angus McFadyen moves as a nobleman torn between his conscience and political aspiration, and Brendan Gleeson brings strength and humor to his role as the robust Hamish, David O'Hara is very effective as the crazy Irishman who provides much of the film's ic relief from even the most tensed moments……Mel Gibson has reason to be proud of 'Braveheart。' It is a
motion picture that dares to be excessive。。。 Gibson presents passionately the most spaciously impressive battles (yet staged for films) even excessively, and it is his passion and excethat make the motion picture great。。。 The horror and futility of massed hand-to-hand bats are exciting rather repulsive。。。 It is epic film-ma-ki-ng at its glorious best……Gibson's 'Braveheart' focuses on the human side of Wallace, a character so immense, so intelligent, and so passionate, exploring the definitions of honor and nobility, pushing us to follow the hero into his struggle against injustice and oppression。

Hotel Rwanda ---- a story of an African Schinderler
Hotel Rwanda is a film about a man。 It was based on a real story of a man who saved 1268 people’s lives in a madness genocidal, which happened in Rwanda, 1994。 The film was directed by Terry George, 2004。 The main actor Don Cheadle is not handsome but just an ordinary man。 You probably will even not recognize him when you happen to meet him on the street。 He acted a hero based on a true story, a man who was as simple as he is, Paul Rusesabagina。 Paul is a hero, a real man, while a hero and a real man doesn’t always need to be handsome or attractive in the appearance。 There are two nations in Rwanda, hutu and tutsi。 Paul is a hutu manager working for a 4 stars hotel on town。 The hutu army planed a genocidal to clear out all the tutsi people in ruwanda。 The tutsi people were suffering a madness blood bath。 Over 800,000 people had been killed within 100 days。 Paul has a tutsi wife, in order to protect his wife, children and other tutsis; he took them to hide in the hotel Rwanda。 There a
re many white people from all over the world lived in this hotel so the hotel is the safest place in Rwanda to hide。 There are 80 UN soldiers in Rwanda but only 4 guarded in the hotel and all of them are not allowed to shot。 If we say that Paul just wanted to save his wife at the beginning, after recognized that there is no one would e to help the tutsis, Paul throw himself into the breach。 He bribed the hutu general by wine and gold, used out every coin of his to purchase the refugees’ lives, ten, a hundred, 2 hundreds, 3 hundreds… more and more tutsi refugees flee to the hotel wishing to survive。 To them, Paul is an angel who keeps a hope for those hopeless people in the calamity。 His goodness his mercy is the key to be alive。
The hotel Rwanda is a dramatically and war film, ingeniously, there was almost no lens for slaughtering; however, the threatener of death was full filling with the whole movie。 One of the tutsi asked Paul,
“Why they are so truculence?”
“ Hatred? Insanity? … I don’t know。”

Jane Eyre — A Beautiful Soul
Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.
We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.
We also remember her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence…
When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
Actually, she wasn’t pretty, and of course, the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her, even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. And some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease, so when Miss Ingram met Jane Eyre, she seemed quite contemptuous, for that she was obviously much more prettier than ‘the plain and ugly governess’. But as the little governess had said: ‘Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong!’ This is the idea of equality in Jane Eyre’s mind. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. Her idea of equality and self-respect impress us so much and let us feel the power inside her body.
In my mind, though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming, if his or her mind isn’t the same beautiful as the appearance, such as beauty cannot last for, when others find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a falsity, it’s not true, they will like the person no more. For a long time, only a person’s GREat virtue, a noble soul, a beautiful heart can be called as AN EVERLASTING BEAUTY, just as Kahill Gibran has said, that ‘Beauty is a heart enflamed and a soul enchanted’. I can feel that how beauty really is, as we are all fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness, but fleshly men, so we can’t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness, but as there are great differences in our souls, and from that, we can know that whether a man is noble or ordinary, and even obscure, that is, whether he is beautiful or not.
Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.
《终结者》The Terminator英文影评
The Terminator is a blazing, cinematic comic book, full of virtuoso moviemaking, terrific momentum, solid performances and a compelling story.
The clever script, cowritten by director James Cameron and procer Gale Anne Hurd, opens in a post-holocaust nightmare, A.D.2029, where brainy machines have crushed most of the human populace. From that point, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the cyborg Terminator is sent back to the present to assassinate a young woman named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) who is, in the context of a soon-to-be-born son and the nuclear war to come, the mother of mankind's salvation.
A human survivor in that black future (Michael Biehn), also drops into 1984 to stop the Terminator and save the woman and the future.
The shotgun-wielding Schwarzenegger is perfectly cast in a machine-like portrayal that requires only a few lines of dialog.
《篱笆墙外》Over the Hedge英文影评
"Over the Hedge" is one of the few comic strips in which you will find debates about the Theory of Relativity, population control and global warming. None of those issues are much discussed in the new animated feature inspired by the strip, but there is a great deal about suburban sprawl, junk food and the popularity of the SUV .
The movie opens with the coming of spring and the emergence from hibernation of many forest animals, including some that do not actually hibernate, but never mind. Vincent the bear awakens to find that his entire stash of stolen food has been -- stolen! He apprehends the master thief RJ the raccoon and gives him a deadline to return the food, or else. RJ cleverly mobilizes the entire population of the forest to help him in this task (ring which he does not quite explain the bear and the deadline). And together they confront an amazing development: During the winter, half of their forest has been replaced by a suburb, and they are separated from it by a gigantic hedge.
That's the setup for a feature cartoon that is not at the level of "Finding Nemo" or "Shrek," but is a lot of fun, awfully nice to look at, and filled with energy and smiles. It's not a movie alts would probably want to attend on their own, but those taking the kids are likely to be amused, and the kids, I think, will like it just fine.
Once again we get an animal population where all the species work together instead of eating each other, and there is even the possibility of interspecies sex, when a human's house cat falls in love with Stella the skunk. There is also the usual speciesism; mammals and reptiles are first-class citizens, but when a dragonfly gets fried by an insect zapper, not a tear is shed.
These animals once ate leaves and roots and things, but all that has changed since Hammy the squirrel discovered nacho chips. The animals find these so delicious, they are the forest equivalent of manna, and RJ, who usurps leadership of the bunch from Verne the turtle, is happy to lead them to the promised land of nachos and other junk foods, in the garbage cans and kitchens of humans.
Like all humans who like to live with a view of beautiful forests, the humans in "Over the Hedge" are personally offended that they are occupied by animals. Gladys (Allison Janney), the head of the homeowners' association, is personally affronted that RJ and his cronies might violate her garbage can, and brings in Dwayne (Thomas Haden Church), a pest control expert known ominously as The Verminator. "I want them exterminated as inhumanely as possible," she tells him. She's all heart.
The encroachment of the forest animals and the efforts of the Verminator in "Over the Hedge" don't approach the wit and genius of a similar situation in the Academy Award-winning "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (2005), but then how could they? This movie is pitched at a different level. But the action scenes are fun, the characters are well-drawn and voiced, and I thought the film's visual look was sort of lovely. If the animals lack the lofty thinking of their originals on the comics page, they are nevertheless a notch or two above the I.Q. levels of many an animated creature.
They have to be. It's a hard life for a forager these days, when you're caught between an angry bear on one side of the hedge and a street hockey game on the other.
不知合不合你意愿,希望可以吧。英语学习一定要加油哦,Good Luck!!!

⑶ 求电影 肖申克的救赎 英语读后感(字数不限)急急急!
第一篇Shawshank Redemption is a film co-operated by white people and black people. It told a story about the life in the prison.A man called Andy Dufresne, was sent into the prison, Shawshank, for he murderer his wife and her lover in bed. However, he was innocentas he said. The new days in the prison were hard to live. It’s violent, heartless and cruel. A month later, Andy began to make friendswith other prisoners. One of them called Red, who could get anything what he wanted. Andy bought a mallet from him and started his plan to escape. During this time, he did many things: expanding the library, caving stones, making tainted money for the prison governor, etc. It took him 20 years to tunnelsecretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. Before that, Andy had told his best friendRed that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. He had lived inside for 40 years. He was institutionized. Sometimes he thought of getting back again as he didn’t belong the world, but he didn’t, for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.It is a good film. The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption. 第二篇When I had finished watching the movie,I was excited and wanted to watch it again.Wheather the figures and details or the spirit that the music conveyed to."Hope is dangerous" Red had ever said,But Andy has always sticked to it.He didn’t cry when he was thrown into prison though he was innocent. On contrary, he found ways to kill long time to escape. He helped the head of the prison do the illegal things in order to gain some freedom. He rebuilt a library and helped the other prisoners. All the prisoners liked him, for he helped them find hope again. Perhaps it was time to escape, in a lightening and thundering night, he escaped from the prison through the holehe had g for twenty years . He was free eventually .I like Andy ,for his talent and his wisedom . And the most important thing that I like is his spirit—never giving up.I have never seen such an amazing film since I saw The Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank encompasses friendships, hardships, hopes, and dreams. And what is so great about the movie is that it moves you, it gives you hope. Even though the circumstances between the characters and the viewers are quite different, you don't feel that far removed from what the characters are going through.
It is a simple film, yet it has an everlasting message. Frank Darabont didn't need to put any kind of outlandish special effects to get us to love this film, the narration and the acting does that for him. Why this movie didn't win all seven Oscars is beyond me, but don't let that sway you to not see this film, let its ranking on the IMDb's top 250 list sway you, let your friends recommendation about the movie sway you.
Set aside a little over two hours tonight and rent this movie. You will finally understand what everyone is talking about and you will understand why this is my all time favorite movie.
二、《肖申克的救赎》的影评
The story may sound simple, but the truth behind the words is remarkable. When I heard the name of the film first time, I considered the Shawshank to be a man’ name, but in face it is a jail——a hell in the world. Not only for the inhumanity of the jailors——they behaved brutally; but also for the jail gnawed at people’ heart by keeping them waiting and waiting as life passed. It seemed that only those utterly worthless people who gave up everything could survive. That’s where the story happened.
The part impressed me most is when Andy got out of the jai. He extended his arms in front of him in the heavy rain as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I saw the faith win the darkness, discharging light dazzling the eyes in the dark blue sky. Under the light, I could feel my recreant innermost being shivering as his voice said: “Remember, Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!”
That’s why I like this film: it encourages people to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important is to keep hope forever. He once that is born, that is die. Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether busy living or busy dying. The film tells me even a man can live once, but if he keeps faith, keeps hope and works his life right, then once is enough. The faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark, the hope is the chief happiness that this world affords, and the life should be full of the singing of the bird and the happiness hope brings. " What’s that do you think? It’s the trembling of the heart, the singing of the mind, the flying of the soul and the hope to be free.”
Have you ever known a famous experiment of the flea? In my point of view, I think it has
some commons with the film Shawshank Redemption.
First I'd like to introce the experiment. It was an experiment about the flea. A zoologist
put some fleas in a glass cylinder, then used a piece of glass to cover it. At first every flea did
all it can in jumping. It must be painful. So after several times, they jumped a little lower,in case
of knocking the glass. After three days, when the zoologist took off the glass,he found that no
flea would jump out of the glass cylinder. Why? Because they got used to jump gently.
We can find the glass is a visible prison to the fleas, but they build an invisible prison for
themselves after three days.
The same with the film, the characters like the fleas in a visible prison which is called Shawshank.
There are three characters made a deep impression on me. They are Andy 、 Red and Brooks.
Though they are the same in the visible prison, they are different .The difference
between them is whether there located an invisible prison in their heart.
Brooks who lives in the Shawshank for fifty years. He likes the flea in the experiment, when
he gets the chance to leave Shanwshank, he chooses to threaten his mates in order to stay in Shanwshank.
But he fails, his only hope is broken.During the fifty years,he builds an invisible prison for himself.
I remember the first time I watched this film was in my senior high school, and I still remember
that I cried hard when I saw Brooks hung himself. At that time I thought it's the fault of the
society, but now I think it's the fault of the invisible prison.Red's words proves my point:"Man's
been here fifty years. This place is all he knows. In here, he's an important man,
an ecated man. A librarian. Out there, he's nothing but a used up old con with
arthritis in both hands. Couldn't even get a library card if he applied. You see what
I'm saying?”“Believe what you want. These walls are funny. First you hate 'em, then
you get used to 'em. After long enough, you get so you depend on 'em. That's "institutionalized."”
It is the "institutionalized" put Brooks into the invisible prison. He has no hope in the
invisible prison, life becomes meaningless. He gets dying.
Red,is an man who can break his invisible prison. He is another kind of flea.
At first he likes Brooks,he build an invisible for himself. He told Andy that hope
is a dangerous thing, hope can drive a man insane,it's got no use the inside, you’d
better get used to that idea.At that time,he has already built the invisible prison
and broke his hope.He couldn't hack it on the outside.Been in here too long, he
is an institutional man now.Like old Brooks Hatlen was.In the prison he is the
guy who get it for the others.Out there, he wouldn't know where to begin. But
Andy's word influences him"get busy living,or get busy dying."At that time,Red
picks up his hope which breaks the invisible prison. When a man has the courage
to break the invisible one,let alone the visible one.At the end of film,Red get out
of the Shawshank and has a new life in the society with his hope! Red,may short
of the word"redemption",and he redeems himself.
Andy who is the hero in this film. And he is an amazing flea! There is no prison
in his mind.Shawshank is the visible prison which seems very sturdy .But he just uses
a small hammer to dig a hole, then he breaks the prison.19 years is a long time! But to Andy, his
hope supports him so that he can ignore the time! As the famous sentence goes hope can set
you free.I think another different between Andy and the others is that he never has an invisible
one in his heart. From the beginning to the end,he is free in his mind. That's why he can do what
the others cannot do! During the 19 years,he holds his hope,he still remember the hight which
he can reach.
The three man are three different kinds of fleas. The fleas tells us not to be prisoned in the invisible
prisons and remember hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever
dies.
We should set us free with our hopes!Let's break the invisible prison!

1. "Peter Pan Peter Pan" Du Hougan
Reading the "Peter Pan Peter Pan" This famous work, I benefited from, I know that every child will grow up in this truth.
Many children do not want to grow up and do not want to go to school, just want to play every day. Peter Pan is the hero of the book, he is a always the boys do not want to grow up. He never lived in this rural paradise like the same place, where there is such as the bell sounds as beautiful fairy, a mermaid hair, Zhang Buda children, mystery, like the Indians, ferocious pirates and will issue a "ticking "Voice of the crocodile. However, the rich and colorful life, but not a substitute for the mother's desire to Peter. Thus, an equally do not want to grow up, the girls never went to the rural based, on the children when the "mother." They never started in the various rural singular adventure. However, the final text still choose Beattie grew up. She took the children from Nashan mother has for her to fly back to open the windows in the home. 功夫熊猫 1
I still remember way back in 2005 when I first heard about Kung Fu Panda I thought it was a pathetic idea. My thoughts had to do with 2 things… the concept and using Jack Black. Both I thought were terrible ideas that seemed to me to lend themselves to yet another cookie cutter, annoying, cheap and witless animated film (non-pixar) that would just rely on fart jokes, burp jokes, fart jokes and basically any simple little thing it takes to amuse 10 year old kids (which is just about anything) without bother to put any quality story telling or themes or idea into it. Just have Jack Black talk in outrageous tones, flash some pretty colors and have Po (that’s the name of the Panda) fart.
Yes, I thought I could already see the entire movie playing itself out in my head just from hearing the concept alone. So off I went to see Kung Fu Panda the other day. Was I correct in my first impressions? Actually… no I wasn’t. It’s actually not a bad film at all.
“The most important element” in any film will vary according to its genre. For a film like Kung Fu Panda clearly the most important element it needed to pull off was comedy. If a film like this one doesn’t make you laugh… then there isn’t much left to fall back on. Thankfully the movie succeeds quite well on this level. I can’t recall any more than 1 hard belly laugh (usually a decent comedy needs much more than that), but it felt like it at least always had me smiling or giggling through the run time. Almost none of the joke were home runs… but then did all work. The end result was I found myself entertained almost all the way through.
Coming up with a good villain in a kids film is no easy task. The character has to be menacing, but at the same time you can’t give kids nightmarish visions and make them crap themselves. I mean come on… it’s Kung Fu Panda… you can’t exactly have Violator (from the Spawn comics) showing up can causing kids across the nation to spontaneously crap themselves in their theater seats… then requiring therapy for the next 3 years to make the nightmares go away! It is a fine and delicate balance… and the villain in Kung Fu Panda, Tai Lung, was PERFECT. He was certainly menacing… but at the same time easy enough for the kids to handle without needing pampers. I think the presence of such a villain really helped the film work.
Doing good action in an animated film is also no easy task. I mean, it’s easy enough to DO… just not so easy to do WELL. However, Kung Fu Panda and the folks at Dreamworks really did pull of some BEAUTIFUL animation with complex yet extremely smooth kung fu fighting that was a treat to watch. It was also a lot of fun seeing how each character had a totally different fighting style in keeping with which animal they were. I mean come on… how on earth do you animate a snake doing Kung Fu and have it look cool? Well… they found a way!

Kung Fu Panda is an American animated comedy film released in 2008. After its release it is welcomed by most alts and children and receives very positive and favorable reviews. I think the film is trying to tell us that if you have a dream and hold on to it, you will be successful one day.
The movie is about a lazy, fat and clumsy panda called Po. He helps his goose father in his family noodle shop every day. And his father expects him to take over the shop and tell him the secret ingredient of making noodle soup. However, Po is fanatic of Chinese Kung Fu and is always dreaming to become a Kung Fu fighter.
Everyone is surprised to find the result but they have to accept the reality. Eventually Shifu takes sage advice from Oogway and begins to teach Po martial arts. Po is carefully prepared to fight. But is Tai Lung defeated in the end by the panda? I urge you to find out the result on your own.
In my opinion, the most impressive part of the movie is the sacred Dragon Scroll and the secret ingredient of making noodle soup. When Po is ready to open the sacred Dragon Scroll, which promises great power to its possessor, he finds nothing but blank. He was in despair and everyone is shocked and desperate. So Shifu has to order his students to lead the villagers to safety while he stays to delay Tai Lung for as long as he can. Then Po meets his father on the way back, and unexpectedly his father tells him the secret ingredient of the family's noodle soup: nothing. He explains that things become special when people believe they are. I think this is the theme of the movie. Once you hold a firm belief, you can get what you want.
On the whole, the movie is funny and entertaining. Its theme of “believe in yourself” is loved by the parents. And for alts there are some wonderful actions and sceneries. If you have not watched the Kung Fu Panda, I sincerely recommend you to watch it and enjoy the enthusiastic and funny Panda.
音乐之声1
Watching the DVD of "The Sound of Music" wasn't exactly a revelation -- after all, I was a teenager when the film came out, and saw it in a theater, lo those many years ago -- but it was a delight.
I hadn't seen it for many years, and it was a great treat to see it again via the excellent proction values of the THX digitally mastered DVD.
That long tracking shot over the Alps to Julie Andrews' wonderful, crystal-ringing voice set the pace for a delightful movie.
There are people who turn a cynical eye and ear to this film, which is too bad for them. Musicals have a limited audience in this age, I suppose, but for those who love music in any form, and who can stand some sweetness from time to time, this film is deeply enjoyable.
The music is almost completely great (there is one tune I just can't warm up to), the performances are charming, the Austrian locales are beautiful and the story is touching, involving love, personal drama and world drama. What else do you want?
"The Sound of Music" is a mostly true story, of the Von Trapp Family Singers. Austrian Captain von Trapp, wife Maria and his children had sung in the Salzburg Music Festival in 1936, then scooted out of Europe in 1938 to get away from Hitler and his evil ways. Eventually they opened a music school, then an inn, in Vermont.
Maria wrote a book, "The Story of the Trapp Family Singers," which became a German film, "Die Trapp Familie," in 1956. By 1959, the story of the von Trapps had become a successful Broadway musical, with a little help from Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The movie version -- directed by Robert Wise and somewhat improved from the stage version, most agree -- was released in 1965.
It is the story of the lively novitiate nun, Maria (Andrews), who -- too flighty to concentrate on religious ties -- is sent to be governess to the von Trapp children. She soon thaws out the icy Captain von Trapp (played by Christopher Plummer) and he sings "Edelweiss" with his children, and before too long he's in love with the noviate and eventually they are wed.
Watching the DVD -- again, many years after the last time I'd seen the film -- I was continually thrilled by Andrew's great charm and beautiful voice, which rings as pure as the finest crystal. She is so delightful in the role that it is no wonder she has been the star she is for so long.
There are photographs of the real Maria, and interviews with some of the von Trapp children. It's amusing to hear them talk about the liberties the film took with their story.
"The Sound of Music" was the most popular movie ever made to that date, and held the box-office record for a long time. For good reason. It is a complete delight, and still highly recommended.
音乐之声2
THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965) was one of the most popular films of the 1960s. Although a bit corny, it is a joyous musical odyssey suitable for the entire family. Today, too often what goes for musicals, see for example EVITA, is little more that a show with a single decent song. In THE SOUND OF MUSIC every song is tuneful and most are memorable and moving.
Some shows are meant to be seen in a movie theater on a large screen with an impressive sound system to match. THE SOUND OF MUSIC is one of them. Nevertheless, our family enjoyed it at home. We have a high quality home theater setup, but the full effect can only be experienced in a real theater. I have not seen the film that way in thirty years. This review is from the home viewing rather than my memory.
The movie is filled with songs, and there are even some simple dance numbers. When Liesl dances in the conservatory at night with Rolfe (Daniel Truhitte), she ends up giving him a single kiss. This sends him into total rapture. I can remember a time when I was a teenager like him and one kiss from a girl, especially a beautiful one, could evoke a response as strong as Rolfe's. Times change and teenagers are regretfully much more sexually sophisticated now. Still, the lone kiss in that scene remains powerful.
In a show that is so upbeat it has been criticized as being sappy, there is the tension of the looming war. The Captain's friend Max Detweiler (Richard Haydn) is apolitical and ignores the coming Anschluss. "What's going to happen is going to happen," he advises the Captain. "Just make sure it doesn't happen to you." Although this war reality is ever-present and although the film is based on a true story, the movie feels like a lovely and enring fairy tale.
This is a movie filled with exuberance, memorable songs, and great beauty. A joy to be savored and seen by each generation.

"Robinson Crusoe" Du Hougan Reading the "Robinson Crusoe" I know when we are under any circumstances, should believe and respect for their wisdom and courage and the tenacity to overe self-to overe the difficulties. This book's main character from childhood who was born in a wealthy family, for their interest in sailing at all to leave their parents, uprooted from their homes, began Chuyang adventure experience. But the final text of the hero by virtue of its clever exceptional courage and wisdom to overe all the world seems difficult to overe the difficulties. He's such wisdom and courage of our life in all of the things Buwan. 4Rain Man Many people hold the opinion that American people care only money and themselves, they dispose no attention to others, even their relatives. The film Rain Man (雨人) described about how a self-centered busines *** an retrieved his family affection. Charlie Babbitt is frantically trying to straighten out his failing Los Angles business which involves expensive import cars. One day he receives word that his father, with whom he has had no contact for years, had died. At the reading of his bill, he learns that he has received a pittance, and that his father’s 3 million-dollar fortune has gone into a trust. Whom is the trust for? Charlie discovers with a shock that it goes to support an older brother he never knew he had. His brother Raymond is a “high-level” autistic, who has been institutionalized for years. Angry that he has been cut out of his share of the inheritance, Charlie takes Raymond out of the mental home and vows to bring him to live in Califomia, then they head out on a cross-country odyssey of discovery. Charlie at first does not quite seem to accept the dimensions of Raymond’s world and grows frustrated at what looks like almost willful stubbornness. Eventually, Charlie has learned how to pay attention, how to listen, and how to be at least a little patient some of the time. He gets in touch with things that are more important than selling cars. In the film, family affection beats money. The story was simple, but the meaning was much deeper. It reflected vividly the conflict beeen money and the affection, inspired people to consider money’s value again. 5 the feeling about a film< a pursuit of happiness>it calls 当幸福来敲门 I know this movie is from my friend chirs song.
