In my opinion we should praetice what we preach and stick to the Olympic creed that the most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. There will be a screening of the movie “Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story” tomorrow evening from 7pm to 9pm in the school hall. This movie is about the inspirational story of how a girl went against all odds to achieve success as an Ivy League student despite a dysfunctional family background and poor upbringing. We hope that this movie will serve as a motivation for everyone to study and work hard, seeing how someone from a less priviledged background than ours can do the very same with hard work and determination.

My Favourite TV Programme Nowadays the 26th Olympic Games are being held in AtLanta. It is the most popular program all over the world and also my favourite progamme. Borrowing from masters like Sam Peckinpah and David Lean， the actor/director has crafted an exceptional cinematic tapestry in only his sophomore effort。 Most of the time， three hour movies have a few flat spots， but Braveheart is constantly on the move -- riveting from start to finish。 When the end credits began to roll， I was hard pressed to accept that nearly 170 minutes had elapsed。

我们学校组织大家一起观看了教育片《孩子那些事儿》。电影看完了，但林老师可爱、伟大的形象确深深地印在了我的脑海里，使我特别感动。
电影里讲述了一位刚从师范大学毕业的年轻教师林冬青，到铭师小学担任五（4）班的班主任。校长向林冬青介绍五（4）班的情况时，特别提到这个班的问题生相对集中，让他多加注意。可初出茅庐的林冬青却不以为意，他对即将面临的挑战满怀斗志，准备大展身手。然而，班里状况百出的问题生们，却让林冬青屡屡受挫，他不得不开始反思。在负责学生心理辅导的丁老师的协助下，林冬青在尊重和爱护学生的基础上，针对每个学生的特点，因材施教，渐渐与孩子们打成一片，最终赢得了孩子们的爱戴。与此同时，他也与孩子们成为朋友，一起成长。
