【简介】

剧情简介：
影片以美国南北战争为背景，描写了南方两个庄园的兴衰历程以及几个人物之间的爱情波折。美丽任性的庄园主之女郝思嘉小姐，高傲自信、青春夺人。在一次酒会上赢得了青年浪子白瑞德的青睐。而郝思嘉的心却为另一位庄园公子卫希礼所占据，卫与表妹媚兰情意相投，已结连理。战争的爆发使郝思嘉二度成为寡妇并最终与白瑞德结合，但对卫希礼的爱之梦却依然没有破灭，直至唯一爱女骑马身亡，白瑞德在绝望中离她而去，这位美国南方姑娘在历经战争和生活磨难后，才终于明白了自己的真正所爱……
