Jonesie The Great Lion Hunter
A small village was troubled by a man-eating lion. So its leaders sent a message to the great hunter, Jonesie, to come and kill the beast.
For several nights the hunter lay in wait for the lion, but it never appeared. Finally, he told the village chief to kill a cow and give him its hide. Draping the skin over his shoulders, he went to the pasture to wait for the lion.
In the middle of the night, the villagers woke to the sound of blood-curdling shrieks coming from the pasture. As they carefully approached, they saw the hunter on the ground, groaning in pain. There was no sign of the lion.
"What happened, Jonesie? Where is the lion?" asked the chief.
"Forget the damn lion!" he howled. "Which one of you idiots let the bull loose?"

A film crew was on location deep in the desert. One day an old Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow rain." The next day it rained.
A week later, the Indian went up to the director and said, "Tomorrow storm." The next day there was a hailstorm.
"This Indian is incredible," said the director. He told his secretary to hire the Indian to predict the weather.
However, after several successful predictions, the old Indian didn't show up for two weeks.
Finally the director sent for him. "I have to shoot a big scene tomorrow," said the director, "and I'm depending on you. What will the weather be like?"
The Indian shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know," he said. "Radio is broken."

⑤ 如何评价印度电影《印度合伙人》（Padman）

电影是一个非常普通的老套路电影，中规中矩，没有什么特别之处，但是电影启迪我们的东西确是极好的。毕竟这是以真实人物的事例改编而成的。而且当时在印度上映时还在发起了“姨妈巾活动”，阿米尔·汗也加入其中支持电影。

介绍一下本片扮演拉克希米的演员阿克谢·库玛尔。他是是印度宝莱坞著名的动作片演员，在为成为演员之前在香港学习过武术，这也让他成为宝莱坞红得发紫的动作片英雄，不光动作片，他还被称为宝莱坞喜剧之王，也拍过各种浪漫爱情片。他的电影风格和成龙类似。出演的电影也超过120部，并且有自己的电影工作室。

值得一提的是，电影中为拉克希米颁奖的嘉宾是阿米达普·巴强，这位演员我也在前不久上映的《老爸102岁》的影评中介绍过，感兴趣的影迷可以看看。

这次担任电影制片人的印度草根企业家阿鲁纳恰拉姆就是这部电影主人公的原型，他的真实经历被拍成了这部电影。他14岁就辍学，却被称为印度的“姨妈巾之父”。电影的时间发生在1998年，而且当时印度女性使用卫生巾的使用率才12%。当然现在阿鲁纳恰拉姆早已不是电影中那个备受指责和辱骂的“变态”，而是成为了印度人民心中的英雄，一位成功的慈善企业家。

这部印度电影再一次将箭头指向了印度社会的女权问题，影片上映之后也改变了印度人的一些看法。而且电影不属于假大空的范畴，而是着手解决了社会中最实际的问题。

影片主人公拉克希米走上这条“不归路”的原因就是因为自己深爱的妻子在“特殊时期”经历的事情，妻子不光要在阳台度过那段日子，甚至使用的布料非常不卫生。他向医生打听得到的答复却是印度社会普遍的问题，有很多女孩子都会因为这种卫生问题生病甚至死去。这也让他在思想上收到了打击，面临了非常大的考验。

阻拦他的最大问题，技术支持只是作为一方面，而大问题就是最难改变人们落后腐朽的观念。这个问题我们也在很多印度电影中看到过，就是印度女性的社会地位。

落后腐朽的思想充斥着印度社会每一个角落，他们认为月经是羞耻的事情，是不洁的事物，而护垫更是男性不可触及的东西所有人都在避开这个问题，甚至拿着卫生巾都会感到羞耻。而且女性宁愿花51卢布向神灵祈求健康，却不愿意用55卢布来获得真正的健康。

而他千辛万苦做的东西，却得不到支持。所有的亲人都不愿意，就连卫校的学生都觉得不靠谱，他只能自己上阵试验。这也导致了姐姐哭着回家谴责他，妻子离他而去，两个妹妹被送走，就连老母亲也羞愧地不认自己的儿子。他被全村的人谴责，只能背井离乡，一边打工一边研究。

终于，功夫不负有心人，他通过一切能够获得帮助的途径，做出了那些大公司非常昂贵的制造机器。这个自制的机器仅需9万卢布，而做出的每一片护垫价格只有2卢布。这个价钱和市场上卖到55卢布一包的“免费”牌护垫相比简直是天壤之别。

但是哪怕他的机器获得大奖，村里人的看法还是如此的羞耻和厌恶。他原本不想申请专利，因为他知道，他历经千辛万苦做出的机器，是为了印度女性服务的，是想让人们能够用得起，而卖给大公司，护垫的价格不会变化。但是他发现自己错了，他改变不了人们的观念。

于是他和他的第一个使用者踏上了一条没有人敢尝试的道路——开放了专利，提供给无业的妇女一个就业机会。

他教妇女们使用机器，雇佣她们在自己的工厂打工，鼓励她们自己开厂生产，实现经济独立，这样既能使得护垫的使用率大大提高，还能为女性带来大量的就业机会。

这就是为什么能够把他称之为英雄的原因。其实不光是他的大无畏精神敢和落后腐朽的思想对抗，敢想敢做的精神，而是他为印度这个国家甚至世界上一些国家做出的贡献。

最后他受邀去纽约的联合国大楼做演讲，他说：“一个国家，一个民族的强大，并不能完全凭借着男人的强大，而女性真正强大起来，才能代表这个国家真正的强大。”这才是本片的现实意义。

当然，很多观众认为他不应该再回去找妻子了，虽然我也觉得不应该，但是他的初心不就是为了自己深爱的妻子吗？所以结局还是比较合理的。
