2003年无疑是迪斯尼的幸运年，出品了很多口碑和票房都非常不错的电影，看来它就要告别这几年来的低潮期了。从4月的《别有洞天》，到5月的《海底总动员》，接着到7月份的《神鬼奇航》，迪斯尼出品的这几部片子连连告捷，《海底总动员》已经成为了北美票房总冠军，而《神鬼奇航》的票房收入上周末也突破2亿美元大关，至今还排在北美票房榜的前列，成绩还有望飚升。这部8月份推出的喜剧影片《辣妈辣妹》，还没上映就好评如潮，昨天本片在北美正式上映，看来这个周末它非常有希 望和明天上映的《反恐特警组》一竞高下。

母亲和女儿的关系似乎中外皆然，微妙得很。亦舒小说里的母女永远只能在最后，如果有最后的话，对彼此多些了解，那种爱和误解，尽在不言中。但是美国人不肯不言。所以拍过的片子拿出来又拍。迪斯尼一向有着不大好的'爱重拍的名声，不过观众不在乎，反正拍片子又不花我的钱，你拍得好我掏钱去看，大家都高兴。

看看走在大街的人们，有多少是真心满足于做自己的?有多少人希望变成另一个人?有她/他的容貌，过她/他的日子，得到她/他那样的幸福?不过很多人即使幻想变成别人，大约也是想变成要么是贝克汉姆要么是维多利亚，反正得是一说出去人人知道的，想影片里这样因为对对方不满而希望变成对方的母女只怕还不多。就算多，也不是人人都可以实现这想法的。不过电影就是让梦想成真的地方，所以，看好戏吧……

影片讲述一对性格迥然不同的母女，在一个早晨发现彼此的身体到了对方的身上——也就是妈妈变成了女儿的样貌，女儿变成了妈妈的样貌。没有办法，她们只好交换自己的主角：妈妈去女儿的学校上学，女儿替妈妈上班。但透过这样，她们从不同的角度了解了对方，也让母女俩重新了解，电影中，妈妈一向不理解高中的女儿，并且试图控制女儿的生活，不允许女儿参加乐队，对于女儿经常得到的F加以批评，并总是肯定的说“如果我是你，我肯定会很努力……我能够透过所有的考试……”。女儿不赞同妈妈，她试图向妈妈解释些什么，而且一向认为母亲是幸福的，因为她能够“做任何想做的事情”。

看着影片，我也联系着同龄人的生活。也许是中西方教育和文化背景的差异，中国的孩子总是很乖（至少我认为是这样的）。尽管有时候我们也想张扬自己，但保守的思想好像在我们的脑中根深蒂固，我们更习惯的是听命于父母，按照父母的安排，乖乖的走下去。虽然有时候自己常对着大人说“你们多好，晚上能够想几点睡就几点睡，没有人能够管！可我们孩子总是要被人管。做大人多好……”，我也就是在这种期盼中一点点长大，可慢慢长大才发现，自己在高兴的听父母说“大孩子了”的同时，为什么总是羡慕的看着欢快奔跑的小孩子们？总听人说，不学会改变，就是拒绝长大。我经历着自己思想的日趋成熟，理解着学来的各种陌生知识，聆听着种种来自大人的谆谆教导，也试图去了解陌生、遥远的大人的世界。

我明白互换主角这种事情在现实生活中不会存在，但我们就应在成长中体会父母的感受、理解父母，也期望父母能够理解一个越长越大的孩子的心。每个人都有自已生活的姿态，不是因为我们倔强的就要这样，而是你们并不了解真相。

片中的母女像现实生活的大部分家庭中的孩子与家长的关系。家长们给了孩子们所想要的一切，但是却并不理解，所以以自已的方式去给予他们。但孩子们却也不理解，既然给予了一切，为什么却还要有限制，所以我们抱着各自所持有的态度相处着。当她们互换身份时，她们真正的才了解到彼此的生活，或许处在她的位置你会比她做得更恶劣，就像妈妈被女儿的朋友考试所害，在受到帮忙时，她竟恶意的去报复。当孩子不是孩子，当父母不是父母时，她们才会真正的体会到了别人的生活，以及什么才是最重要的。

所以，在没有了解事实的状况下，不要对别人的做法表示否定！

To Understand Our Parents
I have seen the movie Freaky Friday for not only one time. Every time that I see the movie, I feel a strong feeling that I am totally conquered by it.
The movie is about a body switch between a daughter and a mother. There is a broad generation gap between them. The mother can’t understand almost everything of her daughter. She doesn’t approve of her daughter’s band .She can also not stand why her daughter only gets a “F” in the exam. What’s more, she thinks her daughter’s would-be boyfriend is terrible. But on the other side, the daughter is also rebellious of her mother, especially when it comes to her prospective stepfather. One day, strange things have happened .They have got the other’s body! So they have to come into the other’s life and deal with the things that they thought terrible before. It is exactly the switch that makes them to learn about, to excuse and to understand the other. Finally, they get themselves’ body when they looking at the other’s eyes directly and saying ”I’m sorry”.
What the movie impresses me is, on one hand, that it brings us happiness. When I was watching the movie, I can just not help laughing .In my inspective, the magical body switch, we can probably also say, the life switch is the critical part of the whole design of the movie.
On the other hand, the movie leaves me thinking about the conflict between my parents and I. We do have many different opinions, thoughts and even values in many aspects, such as in the ecation, in the consuming and so on. In this time, we can usually not understand each other which may even cause serious quarrels between us. Sometimes I imagine that if only I was the parent of my parents! But after watching the movie, I have realized that what I was thinking is so stupid! As their daughter, I should try to understand my parents’ thoughts and behaviors instead of complaining, being angry or inpatient.
In the modern society, there are too many conflicts, quarrels and even murders between parents and children, which has become already a serious social problem. In my opinion, what we needs is only sincere communication and mutual understanding. Through a together-walk, a brief letter and many things like this, we can all make it. Besides, we should view things not only in our position, but also in our parents’ position. By this way, many conflicts and misunderstandings can be avoided.

To make Freaky Friday work perfectly; you would have to believe that Jamie Lee Curtis is Lindsay Lohan and Lindsay Lohan is Jamie Lee Curtis. Although at times it seemed that way, at other times, it just seemed like Lohan was trying to be Curtis and Curtis was trying to be Lohan. Any way you look at it, Freaky Friday is a family-friendly film that tries to please everyone, and does. It pleases shallow teen prep girls because of Chad Michael Murray. It pleases teen boys because of Lindsay Lohan. It pleases older men because of a Jamie Lee Curtis thong shot. It pleases older women because of Mark Harmon. It pleases the whole family, being that they already saw Finding Nemo and it's the only other family movie out there.

Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) (changed from Ellen Andrews from the novel by Mary Rodgers) is a harried psychiatrist who still has time for her family. Anna Colemen (Lohan) (changed from Annabel Andrews) is supposed to be a typical teenager (but is anything but), and has daily fights with her younger brother Harry (Ryan Malgarini) (changed from Ben Andrews). Tess is going to marry Ryan (Harmon), because her husband died three years ago (can't there be a Disney movie with both parents still alive?), of whom Anna doesn't approve. After a fueled feud, Tess and Anna open fortune cookies that switch bodies: Tess is in Anna's body, and vice versa. Whatever will be done?

Although most people have praised Curtis for her accurate portrayal of a typical teen (although with the people at my school, what she does is anything but typical), and she should be, Lohan does better at being an alt. If Lohan, a teenager, could be an alt so well, that's rather scary. I thought at most times Lohan was Tess, but Curtis was having too much fun as Anna to really be thought of as great. Instead of acting like Lohan, Curtis just acts like a young kid who just ate too much ice cream.

One part of Freaky Friday that I didn't like is how often we were put in an awkward situation. And when they were there, they just didn't seem plausible. All of a sudden, Anna-as-Tess is a guest on a talk show, talks to someone she has a crush on, and watches Tess-as-Anna perform? Not only were they awkward, they were just not believable. On the other hand, Freaky Friday not only has some genuinely funny moments, but is also quite touching at times. Obviously, it was going to be, and Tess and Anna were going to learn to respect each other, considering it was shown in the trailer.

One other part I didn't like was how far it strayed from the book. It only focused on Anna-as-Tess (Annabel-as-Ellen), and how she spent her day. Of course, back then she was a housewife, but now she has to be a successful doctor. I do admire it for changing it, unlike others, which is basically watching the book. Overall, Freaky Friday is a likable, pleasant 90-minute diverter. It won't change your life, but you won't be upset you saw it.
