In the future, Jake Sully is brought to another planet which is inhabited by the Na’vi, a race with their own language and culture. Not long before, when his brother is killed in a robbery, Jake decides to take his place in a mission on the distant world of Pandora.

There he learns of greedy corporate figurehead Parker Selfridge's intentions of driving off the native Na’vi, in order to mine for the precious material scattered throughout their rich woodland. As Jake is surrounded by a pack of beasts while his first time in the widewood, Neytiri joins him in the battle and saves him. Jake follows Neytiri and says thanks to her. He is then told that the reason he was saved was e to his “strong heart and lack of fear”. Soon Jake begins to bond with the native tribe and quickly falls in love with the beautiful alien Neytiri.

The restless military head moves forward with his ruthless extermination tactics, forcing the soldier to take a stand. Finally, with the help from all the Pandorian tribes and the divine tree Eywa, Jack and the Na’vi people fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora. In the end, they won while Jake passes through the eye of Eywa and wakes up in his Avatar self through a grand ceremony.
