he story is about a young princess (公主) (Hepburn) named Ann, making a goodwill (善意的) tour of Europes capitals. She is tired of the responsibility (职责) and demands of the role she has been born in to and longs to experience the every day pleasures of an ordinary person. In Rome she finally rebels. Waiting until after everyone in the embassy (大使馆) where her party is staying has gone to sleep, she slips out a window and finds herself alone on the streets of Rome.
She is found by Joe Bradley (Peck) , a hardened (坚毅的) and somewhat cynical (愤世嫉俗的`) reporter, on his way homefroma late night card game. Not knowing who she is but seeing that she has no place to stay he takes pity on her and invites her to his apartment for the night. In a ical (滑稽的) scene, he offers her a pair of his pajamas (睡衣) and points to the couch where she can sleep. Innocent (天真的) aristocrat (贵族) that she is, she asks for a nightgown and help undressing. Bradley helps her take off her tie and then leaves the room. When he returns a few minutes later he discovers her sound asleep on the bed, leaving him the couch (沙发) .
Leaving her sleeping the next morning, Bradley shows up late for work and tries to cover himself by saying that he had an interview (采访) with the princess. But his editor shows him a newspaper with her picture and headline stating that she was taken ill the night before and canceled all appointments (安排) for the day. Bradley immediately realizes who he has in his apartment and gets the editor to agree to pay $5, 000 if he can get a real interview with the princess. On the way out Bradley contacts a photographer (摄影师) friend, Irving Radovich (Albert) and arranges for him to met him later with his camera for a big scoop.
Returning to his apartment, Bradley picks up the princess for their planned tour of the city. Bradleys real aim is to get the pictures and story he promised (答应) his editor. But the innocent charm of the princess softens him and the two start to fall in love. Theyenp having a good time and some ical adventures (冒险) . Bradley conceals the fact that he is a reporter who knows who she really is and she doesnt tell him that that she is a royal princess. The movie Kung Fu Panda looks like a kung-fu novel, in accordance with Chinese-style plot development. The film stars a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.
They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the "Furious Five": Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.
The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single mpling.
"Kung Fu Panda" is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

Paul is a hutu manager working for a 4 stars hotel on town. The hutu army planed a genocidal to clear out all the tutsi people in ruwanda. The tutsi people were suffering a madness blood bath. Over 800,000 people had been killed within 100 days. Paul has a tutsi wife, in order to protect his wife, children and other tutsis; he took them to hide in the hotel Rwanda. There are many white people from all over the world lived in this hotel so the hotel is the safest place in Rwanda to hide. There are 80 UN soldiers in Rwanda but only 4 guarded in the hotel and all of them are not allowed to shot. If we say that Paul just wanted to save his wife at the beginning, after recognized that there is no one would come to help the tutsis, Paul throw himself into the breach. He bribed the hutu general by wine and gold, used out every coin of his to purchase the refugees’ lives, ten, a hundred, 2 hundreds, 3 hundreds… more and more tutsi refugees flee to the hotel wishing to survive. To them, Paul is an angel who keeps a hope for those hopeless people in the calamity. His goodness his mercy is the key to be alive.
The hotel Rwanda is a dramatically and war film, ingeniously, there was almost no lens for slaughtering; however, the threatener of death was full filling with the whole movie. One of the tutsi asked Paul,
“Why they are so truculence?”
“ Hatred? Insanity? … I don’t know.”
The event is a humanitarianism disaster and Paul needs no reason to save the lives. When the world closed its eyes, he opened his arms. Facing a madness calamity and crazy crowds, the indivial’s power is far from enough. However, Paul saved more than 1000 people’s lives. It’s not particularly surprising to be disappointed by any computer-animated film not bearing the Pixar logo. In fact, until Shrek, 2001’s rollicking success, I wouldn’t have even believed it could happen. What is surprising, is that Ice Age doesn’t even ATTEMPT to reach Pixar’s Toy Story heights, apparently content to revel in its status as Monster’s, Inc.'s second rate, half wit cousin.
Ice Age is yet another “extinction for kids” movie, one of many in a long line of baby dinosaurs, pterodactyl eggs, and sympathetic cavemen. This time, it’s the ice age, and wooly mammoths roam the earth alongside primitive man. Strangely enough, in this early world, animals can talk, and humans cannot. But when a group of would-be-enemies discover a lost human baby, wooly mammoth (Ray Romano), saber-toothed tiger (Dennis Leary), and giant sloth (John Leguizamo) must work along side each other in a journey to return the child to its home.
Visually, Ice Age is perhaps the poorest bit of CGI I have ever seen. Contrasted to the beautiful constructs of Monsters, Inc.; or even the gooey, gloppy creativity of Shrek; Ice Age is nothing but badly rendered polygons and Acme animated characters. No hint of photo-realism here. It’s like comparing a Bugs Bunny Cartoon to The Lion King. Actually, I suspect that is exactly what the folks at Ice Age were going for.
Ice Age is really little more than a collection of silly animal gags and Leguizamo one liners. Some of them are even quite funny. If that is all that we’re going for here, then I suppose I’m all for it. But then there are these strange attempts at gut wrenching sappiness, which fall painfully flat amidst sub-video game animation. Frankly, I’m not even sure the CGI they use here is up to the task of displaying the kinds of emotions these people are trying to illicit from their characters. The humans more closely resemble totem poles than they do living, breathing, creatures. It’s laughable watching their polygon-limited faces trying to emote in response to the story’s attempts at heartfelt, soft touches.
Thankfully, the main characters are animals, which are at least bearably rendered to slapstick fun levels. As a result, what slapstick there is, is highly entertaining. Sure, Ray Romano’s vocal talents aren’t particularly spectacular. But Dennis Leary and the always-odd John Leguizamo cover for his mammoth ineptitude without hesitation.
The story itself is bland, boring, and uninspired, as is the almost laughably bad animation. The film’s only real saving graces are some slapstick side trips into the world of an unlucky squirrel and a group of soon-to-be-extinct melon-hoarding dodos. Ice Age’s comedy is worthy of Bugs, but unless you’re under 5, you’ll be bored with everything else.

This should've gone straight to video. Evan Almighty was not able to manage the expectations of those who came to see it anticipating as riotous a ride as its predecessor Bruce Almighty. It retained the premise of the original as a spin-off but it doesn't work not because Steve Carell is less talented than Jim Carrey but because he had lousy material to work with. Even Morgan Freeman (who reprises his role as God) lost the zing and impressive qualities he had in the first installment.
Evan Almighty apparently targets a family audience with its decidedly more religious overtones (check out what ARK really means), so it shouldn't have attempted to fool the audience by maintaining the Almighty franchise because it doesn't fit; its brand of humor and story simply failed to keep up.
It would've probably done better if it were marketed differently instead of lazily riding on the success of Bruce Almighty when it painfully couldn't deliver the same punches.

Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch. They are usually foiling Cruellas schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (Ill get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, ma-ki-ng a very likable show

My thoughts after watching the movie of 'Disney Pixar Cars' Lighting is the main character in this movie. This film starts with his marvelous car race and a mb experience in his life. Only three of them could go to the final match. Three, but only one champion! Lightning flied as quickly as a sword. Finally he was the king of all. Everybody was cheerful. Yet Lightning needed to participate in the Grand Final Race for the 'Piston Cup'. When he was being sent to the venue of Grand Final Match by Max. Max fell asleep until he heard a loud crashing sound. Lightning was asleep too, and he didn't realize that Max had gone far away, leaving him behind. Lightning kept searching for Max, but there were millions of cars like Max, how he was able to find him! Lightning went insane, crashing and destroying every thing. At last, a police car stopped him and sent him to a prison. A renowned car had bee a prisoner! On account of he had destroyed a long road, he must fix it with Besy. Friendship, Courage and Peseverance
Simba, the prince of the animals' kingdom, the future king of its domain, could have been very happy and contented if the plot of murder against his father had not took place.
But life was not always satisfactory. Unexpected tragedy happened one day. Simba's uncle, a mean lion that had been coveting the throne for quite long, carried out an evil plan and managed to trap Simba and his father in front of galloping buffaloes.
To save his dear son, the old lion king sacrificed his own life. And Simba, with his uncle taking his father's place, had no other choice but to flee. On his aimless road, he met o new friends, a weasel and a boar. They were hearty and optimistic pairs.
The friendship beeen Simba and the other o brought him great courage. He was no longer alone and dejected. He was no more a shabby fugitive, but rather a growing price trained by the Nature to retake the throne e him.
Through unswerving efforts of himself and generous help from his friends, Simba finally defeated his uncle and became the lawful king of the animals. The exclamation of HURRAH resounded in the sky, celebrating the fearless new king.
This film taught me that a friend in need is a friend indeed and that only through perseverance can one reach his goal.
