I was fortunate to see this movie in a screening. I really enjoyed it, and felt that it lived up to the teary and heartwarming trailer. While the movie has an uplifting "go for your dreams" message, the deepest theme is that of family.
Will Smith did a great job as the father trying to protect his son from their circumstances of becoming homeless as much as he can, while at the same time trying to work in the competitive world of stocks as an un-paid intern. Jaden Smith was outstanding as the preschool-aged kid who knows things are going wrong and tries to have a stiff upper lip, but just can't do it all the time.
The story is very touching and was close to home for me. My family has been through some tough times, and this movie just reminded me of how much my parents struggled to provide for our family and yet kept life fun as much as they could. I am excited to go see this with my parents as a way to say thank you.

Pride and Prejudice is a famous classic written by jane Austen. I was attracted by the characters and plots of the film adapted from the novel.
Elizabeth is the heroine of the story. When she meets Darcy, a handsome, rich but arrogant man, on the party for the first time, she is dissatisfied with the proud manner of Darcy. Darcy looks down on those who are in a lower social class,
including Elizabeth. However, after getting to know the courage, independence and confidence of Elizabeth, he almost falls in love with her. But Elizabeth believes the lies of Wickham which causes her great prejudice to Darcy. She rejects Darcy’s propose marriage to protect her self-respect. After reading it, Elizabeth feels guilty about

Forrest successfully realizes Bubba’s dream and help Dan discover his self-worth. Finally, Forrest marries jenny, and has a happy life with his son after jenny dies.
“Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” When the first time jenny asked Forrest to run away and the first time Forrest freed himself from the bondage, hope has been growing up in his mind. Though Forrest is surely a little stupid, he believes “stupid is as stupid does”, so he fears nothing and does his best. In his innocence, Forrest does what he feels he has to do, no matter the situations and the people around him, lead only by an inner sense of right. My heart is deeply shocked by this “stupid” man, and I think in recent times we surely need this spirit. So, let’s have a try now.

Despicable Me 2 is a brilliant film with a great storyline and an impressive voice cast.

Its not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leons door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portmans face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. Im not. But Im glad I finally found it, because its a wonderful film in so many other ways.
Based on the Stephen King (non-horror) novella “Rita Hayworth and theShawshank Redemption”， this is a simple story of hope made remarkable by theinteraction between the two lead characters. Both Tim Robbins and Morgan Freemando a fine job in terms of making their roles genuine and appealing, and also inthe way they work so well together. The proction values throughout areoutstanding, but this is not a “fancy” film. Rather, it sticks to the story itis telling without resorting to flashy tricks to grab the audience’s attention.Although there is violence, some of it extreme, it is necessary to show the kindof place the prison is and is certainly not gratuitous.
The main theme is hope,not despair, and the violence serves only as a backdrop to that message.Unashamedly a feelgood movie, by the end one is wishing only that it wouldcontinue for a few more moments.
“Life of Pi” is such an exciting movie that most people enjoy watching it,especially for teenagers. It tells a story where a boy called Pi lives alone with a tiger in a boat in the middle of the ocean. The boy is both smart and brave. He learns to know how to live together with the tiger that may eat him at any moment. However, with so many difficulties, the boy and the tiger successfully reaches the land and saves their lives.
As is shown in the movie, when we are in trouble, not only should we be brave, but also smart. More importantly, we should never give up our hope when faced with hardships. Nothing is impossible if we believe in ourselves. As an old saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way."
