影片中还有一位主要人物是上校丹。他在越南战争中失去了双腿。他说他的命运就是战死。然而阿甘却救他，让他活了下来。失去双腿后他开始憎恨生活，生活得很颓废，责怪阿甘当初救了他。然而当他调整心态，去和阿甘一起捕鱼生活，有了收获后，开始感觉到生活的美好。感谢阿甘当初就了他。

I was hesitant at first,but now I am truly hooked. As I waited patiently for each hour of more Jane, I grew to admire the way the book was handled. Yes, much of Jane's past is missing, but what is there is captivating. Georgie Henley is scarily mature - more than she has a right to be - and her understanding of young Jane's gravity and passion was wonderfully portrayed.

When Ruth Wilson took the scene, I didn't see at first how she was the unearthly Jane I had read. But it became clearer and clearer, and by far she is the most human and understandable Jane yet. Her face speaks volumes as she says nothing. "That face," comments Toby Stephens' Rochester. It is true. Though we see her silent face many times, we have no problem guessing exactly what she is feeling.

At first, I thought Toby was disappointing. I quite liked the sarcasm of William Hurt in the 1996 version, and Mr. Stephens seemed more brash than sarcastic, more flirting than teasing. But it was the chemistry that quite obviously grew between these two characters that has solidified Toby Stephens as Edward Fairfax Rochester for me. For the first time in a movie version, I realized how much the two had become friends first, and then soul mates.

Two other things were handled extraordinarily. The sex and the scary. From dark corridors and floating candles, burning beds, portraits of mad people and blood dripping, Susanna White got her Gothic right. It is almost a ghost story. This suspense keeps the story from being overly lovey-dovey, and shows a real contrast between the white taffeta-covered aristocracy, and the darkly-clad Jane in Rochester's dim study.

As for the X factor, this is not Jane Austen. Women can have conversations with men alone in rooms. Dark-haired, exotic beauties can sece with a look, cheat with a smile and sin the world round. All of it is not afraid to show up in this version. Rochester and Jane's connection, displayed quite innocently and platonic in some versions, blazes with passion in this. The flashbacks in the final hour of series are some of the steamiest and most emotionally charged parts of this proction.

It's heart-warming, passionate, suspenseful, full of beautiful scenery and costuming; all in all, a whole 4 hours of excellent entertainment. Don't miss out.

my personal favorite "101D" medium is Disney's "101 Dalmatians: the Series". It combines many themes of the existing material (Dodie Smith book, 1961 and 1996 movies). But still does its own things, too.

Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch. They are usually foiling Cruella's schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (I'll get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, making a very likable show.

In this essay, I will first reveal this film’s indication of the social context of that age, then I will analyse the two contrary aspects of human nature indicated in this film through some impressive shots.
Under the development of instrial technology, the economy in the Capitalism countries took off. People lived a rich, luxury and expensive life, and this rapid economic development lasted for almost 20 years. People had got used to this kind of life. The huge development in machinery changed people’s life greatly. Innovations of transportation, such as vehicles and tankers, allowed people to travel around. The appearance of these modern transportations was an important milestone of the instrialization. People thus became very confident on human intellectual capabilities. They believed their power of conquering the nature is inapproachable. While the Titanic is also called “The Ship of Dreamers”, in this film, when it bearing in with the ocean in the darkness, the mysterious ocean represents the unknown nature and the ship itself represents the advanced material capabilities people owned. In a shot that Mr Bruce explains his design of the Titanic, he said “the ship possesses huge size, stability, luxury, and strength”, and that” the supremacy will never be challenged”. In conclusion, the film of “Titanic” is not simply an affectional story between Jack and Rose. It shows more than love. Some people own strong vainglory, while some other possess much of love; still others are rich in firm faith and beliefs. It's not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon's door. So he is clever than others. Maybe a lot of people say he has good lucks. But I think character is bond to person’s fate. His attitude and his efforts to life make him has a happiness results at last.

A prisoner spent almost all the life in the prison. When he got the parole, which was applied for many years but without reply, he didn’t feel happy, but sad. He wanted to go to the prison again. He wanted to live in the place he knew. In the prison, he was a key who had knowledge and position. But when he went out of the prison, he found he was only an old man without anything. In this film, Andy as the symbol of the hope lived in the prison for 20 years. He remained his dream all the time. On one hand, he looked forward to getting freedom. On the other hand, he believed that he was innocent of the murder. The real reason was his profound thought about hope. In his opinion, hope is a good thing, maybe the best thing, and no good things ever die. It makes a strong man save himself, and a great man save another one. According to this idea, the life in prison for 20 years did not made Andy give up the hope, but made him comprehend the meaning of the life. In fact, hope is a mood without ambition but it really exists.

The sky, the sea and the beach compose a romantic picture. When Andy and Red, two weather-beaten friends, saw each other again in the island, all hardship of 20 years made Andy tougher and their friendship get harder as the same.

肖申克的囚犯也大都如此。在入狱之前，他们想必大都是目无法纪为非作歹的凶徒，人性中叛逆抗争的一面应该比常人要猛烈得多。但是长期被囚禁的生活，对权威的恐惧，对未来的绝望，对体制的顺应，使他们逐渐成为了去掉獠牙的狼。但冲动的血性并没有消失，囚犯之间时不时地争斗，“三姐妹”的恃强凌弱，都是证明。但，这一切都臣服于肖申克的石墙之内。就像驯服的狼被一起圈禁在铁栅栏中，也会彼此斗殴撕咬。这是动物的本性，也是人类的本性。

接着我想说的是，“毅力”。这个力量或许和前面所说的“理性”有些关联。

人都有一时冲动的时候，那一刻会爆发出平常所没有的力量，叫做爆发力。对短跑运动员来说，爆发力很重要。然而那一刻爆发的力量是有限的，它会被一种叫做时间的东西消磨。这个力量来自于人的本能，像顽石一样不经琢磨。

而“毅力”却是琢磨而出的。时间不断的腐蚀它，而理性不断的加固它。这是一场艰苦卓绝的拉锯战。

安迪可以坚持每天挖掘石洞，挖了近二十年；可以每周写一封信，后来每周写两封信，直到州政府给了回应，资助他建立起图书馆；可以穿越长达五百米的恶臭肮脏的下水道，逃离肖申克。这样的毅力不只是可敬可佩，简直是可怖。

我没有毅力。我只会被时间消磨成一堆灰，一堆沙，而安迪却被琢磨成了钻石。他让我激动，是因为他身上的“理性”和“毅力”是我所没有的。

我推想安迪从哪一天开始生起了挖洞逃生的念头。也许是他刻下名字的那一刻，他发现石墙的质地松动，可能使他成功，于是他开始奋斗。但我想，这个念头一定在那之前就有，一定是这种想要摆脱困境的念头，与他百折不挠的精神，使他成为一个出色的银行家。而后，使他成为一个出色的逃犯。接着，在电影结束之后，他必将成为一个出色的开拓者。

瑞德说，你不是罪犯，也许，不是个好丈夫。安迪却不这么认为，他痛心疾首，认为是他的性格害了他的妻子。他很爱她，但是不善于表达，她说他就像一本阖上的书，永远不知道他在想什么。

其实从电影一开始，我就明白了为什么安迪的妻子会红杏出墙。当然，他很出色，他不只是有才华，还有一种奇妙的人格魅力。但是这不是爱情的基础，起码，他的妻子并不因此而爱他。

有人说这是部“男人必看”的电影，我想除了因为这部电影宣扬了理性、希望、奋斗之外，还因为其中有一种男人之间的友情。安迪的魅力没有吸引到他的妻子，却深深吸引了他身边的囚犯兄弟，特别是瑞德。

瑞德是个老大哥般的人物，慷慨任侠，老成世故，颇有头脑。他在监狱里法力无边，若不是最初他帮助安迪搞到了许多工具，安迪也无法完成越狱的奇迹。

安迪心中明白“体制化”对瑞德的影响，他们曾在一次谈话中提到希望，于是引出了这部电影最经典的两句台词：“希望，是好事，甚至也许是人间至善。而美好的事永不消失。”“要么赶着去生活，要么赶着去死。”然而在监狱里生活了三十年的瑞德，怎么可能仅仅被这两句话而挽救呢？他可能会走Brook的老路。

安迪的这一招，非常像程灵素，她也是以她的感情与智慧，救了胡斐的命，最关键是，给了他活下去的理由。不能怪胡斐不爱她，就好像不能怪安迪的妻子不爱她一样，他们的智慧和人格魅力，也许只有站在朋友的立场才能够欣赏。许多男读者爱程灵素，应该也只是把她引为一位异性知己吧。

When I first saw this movie I didn't appreciate it like I do now. Because I was so young that I didn’t get the main idea when I first saw it. Just recently I saw the movie again. What an amazing and moving story. That movie teaches you so much about life and the meaning of it. That life isn't as bad as most people feel. Forrest Gump, the innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. Although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates, we just have to bite into it and get through it even if we don't like it. I just love this movie. And anyone who hasn't seen it or who thinks that don't like it I seriously suggest seeing it or seeing it again. It truly is amazing...

In my opinion this is the best Cinderella story that there is. The characters are fantastic! With all their different personalities coming together, it really makes the story fun to watch. And the music is wonderful, the songs are beautiful and catchy but not cheesy. The story line has more of a twist, in that the dream doesn't come true right when the slipper fits. If you love fairy tales and whimsical romances, this is the perfect movie for you.

I watched this movie when it first came out thirty years ago. The music is wonderful. Just what you would expect. The take on the story is a little different but not so different as to disappoint diehard Cinderella fans. There is more of a back story to the Prince and a new dilemma keeping him and Cinderella apart. The stepmother and stepsisters are divine. They nailed the parts. The fairy godmother is a riot and probably my favorite character in this movie. The incidental love story of the prince's companion-at-arms and a lady-in-waiting is very charming. I have always loved fairy tales and I was not disappointed in the retelling of one of the world's favorites.
