金盆洗手，不只是痴人說夢，只是現實能有幾個人如此幸運。《極盜車神》 在國外評價很高，音樂與飆車的完美融合，盜賊與受害者之間的情感糾葛，大概是國內觀眾不熱衷彩蛋的原因，中西方文化的詫異導致此片口碑一般。

「說起來你可能不信，我搶銀行的時候都沒這么刺激。」電影開篇就是三個盜賊持槍搶劫，畫面一轉就是出場自帶bgm的男主控制不住的隨著音樂搖擺。
音樂作為一個重要元素貫穿劇情，看上去善良天真的男孩屢次協助盜賊們逃出生天，格格不入的性格總是被人懷疑能力。

當然影片也是存在硬傷的，比如某墨一直對於老闆的轉變不解——一個全家都是盜賊的的幕後大佬，前面還拿女友養父的命運威脅男主，後面就被男女主的愛情感動到以命換命落得個慘死局面？至於影片充滿希望的結局，這個就仁者見仁智者見智了。
