《郵差》
1945年，智利詩人帕布洛·聶魯達(Pablo Neruda)當選為參議員。在右派掌權時，作為共產黨員的聶魯達被迫與其他左翼分子一起轉入了地下。這位有「受奴役者的詩人」之稱的革命家在數年後，曾與年輕的妻子流亡到義大利南部的一個小島上，直到1952年當權者撤消了逮捕左翼作家與政界進步人士的命令以後，夫婦兩人才回到祖國。1994年獲奧斯卡最佳影片提名的《郵差》，講述的就是在聶魯達流亡義大利的歷史背景下發生的一個平凡而又感人的故事。
失業的青年馬里奧是島上漁民的兒子。在電影院里他從紀錄片上得知，智利大詩人聶魯達的避難場所就是自己的家鄉——位於天涯海角的小島薩利納。大家熱烈歡迎著名詩人的光臨，馬里奧還幸運地得到了一份郵差的工作——專門負責給詩人送信。來自世界各地的信件開始雪片一般地飄向原本寧靜的海島，所以馬里奧騎著自行車跨越山路，每天都要光顧詩人夫婦居住的小屋。在聶魯達的啟發下，他開始感悟到了詩歌藝術的美。郵差與詩人之間產生了深厚、真摯的友情。

⑻ 求<理智與情感>的原聲
Doyle曾因為《理智與情感》的電影音樂而被六十八屆奧斯卡提名。盡管此片不敵義大利作曲家Louis Bacalov的《郵差》而最終未能折桂，但不容否認
這部充滿古典氣息的原聲合集淋漓盡致地傳遞和延展了劇中人物的命運和情感。
My Father』s Favorite:本段音樂在電影中出現過兩次，第一次在片頭中，截取中間的鋼琴主旋律加提琴伴奏，節奏舒緩，第二次出現是二小姐瑪麗安的鋼琴獨奏，一直延續到大小姐埃麗諾和愛德華的愛情萌動直到兩心相許，貫穿始終。影片中大部分的音樂都是屬於瑪麗安的，這一段則是唯一屬於埃麗諾的旋律。樂曲一開始由一段管弦樂引入，繼而鋼琴奏出主旋律，鋼琴的主調在其中反復三次，一直平靜舒緩，充實地表達了埃麗諾清醒隱忍的理性氣質，而她與愛德華的愛情節奏也與此合拍，是淑女紳士藍天綠地之間的屈膝躬身和信步漫走，波瀾不驚的心靈契合。
比起穩重清醒的埃麗諾。我更加青睞感性小姐瑪麗安，電影講的是情感與理智的掙扎，但是埃麗諾沒有掙扎，或者說她的外表看上去沒有掙扎，真正的掙扎體現在瑪麗安的身上。當埃麗諾愁眉不展地算計房租的帳單和昂貴的牛肉，瑪麗安還憧憬在對暴風雨的愛情和十四行詩的嚮往之中。按照現在的說法，瑪麗安性格火辣，敢愛敢恨，最終卻不得不為此付出代價，被現實磨平稜角後，不得不接受安身婦人的命運。音樂向我們展現了這一過程，在我看來，每段都是對她的歌頌。
瑪麗安絕不是《傲慢與偏見》里小妹妹麗蒂亞式的愚蠢輕佻的少女，而是有藝術修養和氣質的美麗女孩，有著這一類女子共同的清傲，她在影片中彈唱了兩首歌，這是Patrick Doyle為瑪麗安量身訂做的，I Weep You No More Sad Fountains和The Dreame，據說I Weep You No More Sad Fountain的唱詞是一首流傳於十六世紀的詩歌，作者已經無籍可考，但是卻被歷來的音樂家改編成歌曲傳唱。當瑪麗安唱起它的時候，正好在喬爵士和詹寧斯夫人的午餐會上，當中途到場的布蘭頓上校聽到她天使的歌聲，立即就被這位美貌純潔的姑娘所征服。從這里開始，這首I Weep You No More Sad Fountains成了瑪麗安的主旋律，一直低吟在她的生命，以及路過她生命的兩個男子心中。於是根據這首歌的旋律衍生出的樂曲有兩首，All The Better For Her和Patience，All The Better For Her出現在布蘭頓上校對瑪麗安的默默關注中，人到中年卻孑然一身的上校難免有些可憐兮兮，以至他對瑪麗安的愛並不存在奢望，他在與喬爵士的對話中傷感地說，「瑪麗安才不會考慮讓我做她的丈夫，就這樣是最好的。」這段音樂的名字也就是這么來的。它採用了悠揚的管樂和提琴，音質低沉，節奏緩慢，很好地表現出布蘭頓陷入無望愛情的傷感，然而音樂低低響起，我感覺到瑪麗安的倩影無所不在。
Patience也是同樣的調子，當它奏響的時候，威洛比已經出場了，他是瑪麗安理想中的白馬王子，英俊倜儻，兩個人的愛情就像敞篷馬車的杏黃色輪子一樣轉動起來，熱烈奔放，他們流連在十四行詩和素描側影之中，威洛比深情脈脈地剪下瑪麗安的一綹卷發，布蘭頓在牌桌上失神地看著這一切。這時候的音樂同樣也是瑪麗安歌聲的旋律，只是比起前一首All The Better For Her，這段Patience換成了輕盈的長笛，沒有了上一段的沉悶，代之以浪漫的溫馨和青春的活力。
The Dreame是電影的片尾曲，在此之前，同樣也由瑪麗安彈唱出來。那時侯已經塵埃落定，瑪麗安遭到威洛比的拋棄，後又為失落的愛情險些喪命，劫後餘生，她拖著虛弱的身體躺在長椅上聽布蘭頓笨拙地讀詩，「雖然海上依然惡浪翻滾，吞噬著大地，而大地卻不再受損，因為任何東西，不管它來自何方，都會被潮水帶向彼方，因為什麼都沒有失去，但如果細細找尋，還會找到什麼呢？」此刻的瑪麗安已經沒有力氣再挑剔地指責念詩者缺乏激情，只是無限留戀地看著恩人，說，「我們明天繼續好嗎？」於是我們聽到了她在布蘭頓送她的新鋼琴上彈出的音樂，這支歌給人以安寧，卻有著即將散場的倦怠。我相信瑪麗安將會幸福，卻再不會有從前那種快樂，一個率真熱情的女孩死去了，我為此而深深遺憾。我不是在懷念魅力凌人的威洛比，恰恰相反，我從始至終都是垂青柔情深種的布蘭頓，盡管如此，瑪麗安的未來仍然值得擔憂，也許她就此長大，學會了如何去愛，但是最後她對布蘭頓，還看不出是發自內心的愛。影片的最後，情感被拋棄，理智獲得了勝利，而我只是想說，她們誰也沒有錯。
Combe Magna無疑是整部作品裡最磅礴大氣的一個單元。風雨中傷心的瑪麗安行走在通向Magna山谷的廣闊草坪上，那裡是Grey小姐和威洛比的新家。管弦樂合奏擁出浩盪聲勢的定音鼓，彷彿瑪麗安在為轟轟烈烈的愛情舉行喪禮。她面對著山谷中的庄園，念出莎翁的詩句，「如果愛能改變，能隨著風向而轉行，我們便不是真的相愛，愛是亘古長明的燈塔，面對暴風雨卻毫不為動……」 緊隨其後的是To Die For Love，暴風雨的打擊使得瑪麗安患上致命的傳染性感冒，危在旦夕，奧斯丁是個溫和的人，她想也許惟有讓瑪麗安死去活來一場，她才能活下來。要想獲得新生，就要先將之前的自我徹底擊碎。
值得一提的還有影片中兩首歡快的小步舞曲，分別名叫Willoughby和Miss Grey，前一首如其名，埃麗諾在舞會上交換舞伴，意外地邂逅了閃爍其詞的威洛比。兩人彬彬有禮地相互問好，埃麗諾冷靜如舊，其實我懷疑她早已經猜到威洛比的負心，卻從沒有提醒過妹妹。當第二支舞曲Miss Grey響起來的時候，被現實打擊的瑪麗安在姐姐的攙扶下離開舞會，劇情開始隨著音樂急轉直下，一切都真相大白了，詹寧斯夫人尖叫著報告威洛比已經與高傲富有的Grey小姐訂婚的消息，而與愛德華私定終身的露茜也被費拉斯家趕出家門。這一切證明了埃麗諾所堅守的等級觀念決定婚姻的看法是多麼正確。多事之秋，肥胖的詹寧斯夫人輕捷地跳過石頭路面上的馬糞，這是影片中少有的能給我們帶來笑聲的一段音樂，奧斯丁的小說里永遠缺不了詹寧斯夫人們的雞飛狗跳。

義大利作曲家路易斯·巴卡羅夫(Louis Bacalov)於60年代開始電影音樂創作，除了《郵差》以外，他名下還有一部1983年的法國影片《Entre Nous》。《郵差》以一部旋律質朴動人、配器淡雅獨到、充滿鄉土氣味的配樂，得到了1995年度奧斯卡評委們的青睞，戰勝當年參加角逐的另外幾部「勁敵」——《尼克松》、《阿波羅13》、《勇敢的心》、《理智與情感》等。打動奧斯卡評委的，也許正是《郵差》配樂里與影片題材、時代和地域相吻合的那種樸素本色。班多鈕手風琴作為主奏樂器來使用，除了表現出作曲家音樂設計的獨到以外，也表現出他的構思與劇情的息息相關。在多次聽到這種無和聲樂器所發出的明晰樸素的聲音時，我們就會把它和國際共運史上的來自南美的那位集政治家和藝術家於一身，時刻關懷世界勞苦大眾，與人民同呼吸共命運的革命者聶魯的形象聯系起來。
