我的回答 其實我個人認為他在早期的時候，唱功不是很好```但是現在比以前好多了 他的歌....只有慢慢品位才有感覺！也許你會越來越喜歡他

一年八個月，
為了寫歌他離開自己的家人，常居台灣，日以繼夜終日創作 對黃義達來說；歌，只有寫太多，沒有寫不出來的時候。
在【完整演出】專輯中，每一首歌都是一部音樂電影；其中義達自己製作了8首歌，有自傳電影「完整演出」、文藝愛情電影「到底多久」、「既然你問我」；有唐代歷史劇「文成公主」，也有社會現實奮斗劇「我懂」；此外還有特別描寫某種情境，有如電影中某個片段的歌，例如「冷戰」就將偶像劇中的男女吵架冷戰的畫面搬入歌中；非常適合當電信廣告配樂的「某天」，則是描寫「被需要」的心情。最有趣的是，義達還做了一首卡通片般的短曲，變音唱出「 My Love My Dear」。
專輯中有3首歌曲是義達在跳脫製作人角色前就製作完成的歌曲「『那』女孩」、「解脫」、「部落格」分別由偲菘、偉菘兩位老師製作，為感謝老師的提攜，義達仍將這3首歌收錄在這張『完整演出』專輯中，3首歌曲他回歸到演唱者的角色，他認為這3首歌仍是他的一部份，更是他這一路走來的成長痕跡，用聲音參與演出也是一種完整的表現。
「『那』女孩」這首歌，就是繼第一張專輯「匿名的寶貝」、第二張專輯「那女孩對我說」的【寶貝情歌】完結篇；「解脫」其實是他歷經創作之苦時的心情寫照。「部落格」是黃義達給歌迷的禮物為歌迷發聲的歌曲。

無法定義的黃義達 自傳式電影音樂
「完整演出」是一首無法定義的，黃義達的作品。由鋼琴獨奏開頭，伴隨著黃義達的歌聲進入，接著宗教式的吟唱、重低音節奏、狂暴的電吉他依序加入，營造出一種沉重的感覺，最後還加入帶著詭異的弦樂旋律襯底，讓人完全感受到黃義達在這段時間里被矛盾困住時的掙扎、不安與企圖沖破困境的憤怒。 整首歌就像是一部自傳電影，訴說著創作者的壓抑、掙扎與靈魂吶喊。 這樣的歌，像搖滾又不是搖滾，很難歸類，也很難找到類比，但卻絕對特別，特別到會讓你仔細聽完後，會覺得「很屌！」
