ANN:But I'm not two hundred years old! (Dropping down on the bed) Why can't I sleep in pyjamas?
COUNTESS:(looking up as she folds the sheets into place) Pyjamas!
ANN:(Just) the top half. Did you know there are people who sleep with absolutely (nothing) on at all?
COUNTESS:(opening the window) I rejoice to say that I did not.
ANN:(lying against the headboard, smiling as she hears distant music coming in through the window) Listen.
COUNTESS:Oh, and your slippers. Please put on your slippers and come away at the window. Your milk and crackers.
ANN:(taking the tray; as the Countess helps her pull the covers over her) Everything we do is so wholesome.
COUNTESS:They'll help you to sleep.
ANN:(stubbornly) I'm too tired to sleep--can't sleep a wink.
COUNTESS:Now my dear, if you don't mind: tomorrow's schele--or schele whichever you prefer--both are correct. Eight thirty, breakfast here with the Embassy staff; nine o'clock, we leave for the Polinory Automotive Works where you'll be presented with a small car.
ANN:(disinterested; absently playing with a napkin)Thank you.
COUNTESS:Which you will not accept.
ANN:No, thank you.
COUNTESS:Ten thirty-five, inspection of food and agricultural organisation will present you with an olive tree.

ANN:'Youth and progress'.

ANN:'Sweetness and decency' (she rolls her eyes.)
COUNTESS:One o'clock sharp, lunch with the Foreign Ministry. You will wear your white lace and carry a small bouquet of very small pink roses. Three-o five, presentation of a plaque. Four-ten, review special guard of * Police. Four forty-five (ANN How do you do?) back here to change to your uniform to meet the international--.
ANN:(screaming at the Countess) STOP!!! (Looking away, her hair covering her face) Please stop! stop...!
COUNTESS:(retrieving the tray) It's alright, dear, it didn't spill (she places the tray on the table.)
ANN:I don't care if it's spilled or not. I don't care if I (throws her head into the pillow) drown in it!
COUNTESS:(putting her hands on her shoulders to comfort her) My dear, you're ill. I'll send for Doctor Bonnachoven.
ANN:(turning over, facing the opposite way) I don't want Doctor Bonnachoven; please let me die in peace!
COUNTESS:You're not dying.
ANN:(facing the Countess) Leave me.
COUNTESS：It's nerves; control yourself Ann.
ANN：(throwing herself on the pillow, beating it with her fist) I don't want to!
COUNTESS：(standing up straight, speaking with authority) Your Highness. I'll get Doctor Bonnachoven
ANN:(looking up as she leaves) It's no use; I'll be dead before he gets here.

琵琶彈奏：《金蛇狂舞》
場景：狐狸在前面跑，老虎在後面追。老虎一把揪住狐狸，喘三口氣後，將狐狸翻轉過來。
老虎：(暴怒地，用手指指著狐狸的鼻子)You cheat me last time. Cheat me! How dare you! Now, you are dying. Ah ha ha ha!
狐狸：(背過頭去，小聲地)：Oh, unlucky! What shall I do?
(回過頭來，可憐地)：I feel very sorry for cheating you last time，but, but ,but……(左顧右盼)
老虎：(疑惑地)But what?
狐狸：(推脫中)But…….(眼睛往遠處上下打量，迷戀狀，腳不由自主地走出去)Beautiful!
老虎：(一把將狐狸拽回來) What?
狐狸：(向遠處努努嘴)You girl friend Linda! Look, she』s there!
老虎：(傻呼呼，左右張望，急忙放手去找)Where? Where? Linda, I love you!(狐狸乘機溜走)(l老虎望著空空如也的手) I hate fox!(氣得上竄下跳)
(二)
旁白：Unfortunately, after a few days, the tiger meet with the fox again.
老虎在森林裡又遇到了溜達中的狐狸，又一下子沖上去把狐狸壓在爪下。
(琵琶撥一下弦，以示緊張的情緒。)
老虎：(暴怒地)Now, you can make a choice. You want me bite you head first or your fat leg first?
(先撫摩狐狸的頭發，再打量狐狸的腿)
狐狸：(回過頭去，表情像遇到鬼)Shit!(又回過頭來，非常可憐狀)(二胡《梁祝》響起)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, help yourself to some fox please. I hate myself, too.(狐狸捂著臉痛苦地跪下)My mother says I』m not a good boy. I always tell lies.(狐狸突然躥起來) But, they say, tiger is a kind of strong animal. Maybe the strongest animal in the world. Before I die, can you show me how strong you are?
老虎：(得意極了，做出各種健美展示姿勢)Of course. I』m a great animal. I』m proud of myself.
狐狸：(試探地)I heard there was a Chinese called 劉翔. He can cover 110 meters in 10 seconds. Can you?
老虎：(想想就好笑)Wa ha ha ha ! wa ha ha ha! Poor mankind! How slow! Wash your eyes! (老虎用手將狐狸的腦袋推開)Look!(老虎一溜煙跑了起來)
狐狸：(揮揮手，遠遠望去)sa yu na la! (二胡配輕松得意的音樂)

旁白：Now, fate plays another joke on the fox .He meet with the tiger again.
老虎變聰明了躲在樹後面，一下子撲住了狐狸。
狐狸：(不解地)Who?
老虎：(意味深長地)Your old friend! Tiger!
狐狸：(裝傻地)Oh, haven』t see you for a long time. How are you?(狐狸幫老虎整理領子，用袖子幫老虎擦衣服)
老虎：(陰險地)Very very nice! Now, I see my lunch. Dilicious!(狐狸聽了腳抖)
狐狸：(打噴嚏)a ti ! a ti ! (煞有介事地)I admit I』v cheat you for 3 times. But, you know, it』s all for your sake.
老虎：(疑惑地)For my sake?
狐狸：(可憐巴巴地)Yes. To tell the truth, I』m not a normal fox!
老虎：(不甘示弱地)I』m not a normal tiger, too.
狐狸：(娓娓道來) I looked it up in the dictionary, and I know, in Chinese, they call me 果子狸。
老虎：(沒明白)果子狸？

老虎：(得意地，想想就好笑地)Wa ha ha ha! Wa ha ha ha ! My mother always tell me ：to learn a forgien language is very important! I』ve learnt Chinese in school! Am I great! (突然醒悟過來)Wait, what did you say? Chinese call you what?
狐狸：果子狸。
老虎：果子狸？SARS? 非典？
狐狸：(點點頭)Yes!
老虎：(放開手，大叫著跑了)wa ya!(邊跑，邊擦手)

旁白：From then on, fox become the real King of the forest.
二胡演奏We are the champion
狐狸大搖大擺地走在前面，後面有兩個小嘍羅在敲背。一個小嘍羅敲得重了。狐狸把手一揮。Go! Go! Go! 將其趕走。
狐狸走在台中，大笑起來：Ah ha ha ha ha! Ah ha ha ha ha!
期間，夾雜著老虎的哭聲。

老頭：女兒，快走吧，不然那豬精來了，就走不了了。
Honey, hurry up. The spirit is coming soon.
小媳婦走幾步又回頭跑回老媽的懷里，抱頭痛哭。老頭在一邊嘆息，擦淚。
唐僧、悟空走到他們面前。
悟空：師傅，到了。
Master, here we are.
唐僧（走到老頭面前行禮，悟空看見了正在哭的母女倆，覺得奇怪，上下打量）：老施主，我是從
東土大唐前往西天取經的和尚，想借貴地休息一晚，不知方便否？
Excuse me, sir. I am the monk from the east. Can we stay over here tonight?
老頭（做哽咽狀）：哦，是東土大唐來的高僧啊，可以可以。（別過臉去繼續哭泣）
Oh, you are the monk from the east. Sure. Sure, come in, please ……
唐僧正在奇怪，老媽聞聲抬起頭，仔細打量唐僧，突然撲到唐僧面前。
老媽：高僧啊，你可要救救我的女兒，救救我們一家啊。
Master, please save my daughter, save my family…
唐僧：老施主休要傷心，有什麼事慢慢說。
Don』t be sad, madam. Take it easy. What happened?
老頭：高僧有所不知，我們這里有一隻豬精，今天要來跟我女兒成親，大家都斗不過它，現在正
准備把女兒送出去逃避
Master, there is a spirit here. He wants to marry my daughter, tonight. We are all
afraid of him.
唐僧：施主莫怕，我這徒弟本領高強，也許他能幫上你們。
Calm down, sir. My apprentice has great capability. Maybe, he can help you.
老頭：唉，高僧啊，以前也來過自稱本領高強的師傅，結果都被這豬精打跑了。今天你們就躲著
別出來了吧。
Alas! , master, there have been many people who boast to be very capable. But every
time, they were defeated by the spirit. You』d better keep away tonight.
悟空：噢，有這么厲害的妖怪？我倒要會他一會。待會你們只管躲起來，外面發生什麼事，都不

這時起了風聲（音樂），老頭一家嚇得站起來混身發抖。小媳婦嚇得直往老媽懷里鑽。悟空鎮定
地舉手示意，讓師傅及老頭一家人躲到房間裡面去。自己也手搭涼篷看了看，便不慌不忙地也躲
在了門後，露出一段紅袖子。
豬八戒大笑著耀武揚威地走上場來，嘴裡大喊：小娘子，我來了。
Darling, here I am.
站在台上停一下，見沒有動靜，覺得奇怪，往房屋裡看去，見露出一段紅袖子，高興地一拍手掌。
八戒：小娘子還害羞呢，不敢出來見老豬嗎？來，來，來，我們就要是夫妻了，還害什麼羞呀！。
Darling, don』t be so shy! Please come to me. Come on, we will be a couple.
豬八戒跑上去輕輕拉住紅袖子，把小娘子拖了出來，小娘子作出害羞的樣子，有時又做出猴子的
模樣。
八戒：小娘子，不用怕，我雖然長得丑，但本領高強，一定會讓你過上好日子的。
