但女人和愛情在這場戰爭中（至少是在電影中）起到了推波助瀾的作用。戰爭因海倫而起，隨著阿基里斯（Achilles）為救Briseis付出生命而結束，屠城時，特洛伊的老幼殘病，在Andromache的帶領下通過密道逃離了紛亂中的特洛伊。女人和死亡成了這個故事所有矛盾的出口。

But they come to a stop by Hector, Prince of Troy. The whole movie shows their battle struggles, and the foreshadowing of fate in this remake by Wolfgang Petersen of Homer's "The Iliad."
