當然可以。老友記里的發音我覺得是很純正的美式英語。演員的吐字很清晰，而且語言豐富，語速也很適中。俚語也有，但並不是很多。最重要的事它的情節很好，不枯燥。
如果要通過它來練口語的話，一定要反復看，不能只為了情節，我都看了幾十遍了，還沒有覺得膩煩，呵呵。
到迅雷上找聖城家園製作的吧，中英字幕，翻譯也不錯。
至於電影，有時候為了情節人物需要，很多絕色都有義大利啊，拉丁啊，英國口音，學起來難度比較大。但是，就我看，只要是一般的喜劇還是可以的.
