1. 英文歌曲介紹(二)
虧敬 電影《畢業生》(《Graate》)，是美國六十年代最受大學生歡迎的電影，1968年獲奧斯卡獎。影片由達斯汀·霍夫曼主演，這也是他的成名作，他後來還主演過《Rain man 》(《雨人》)，成功塑造出一個智障又有特異功能的人以及素不相識的兄弟倆由排斥到融合的過程。
《畢業生》中有兩首主題曲：
1 《The Sound of Silence 》(《寂靜之聲》)
2《 Scarborough Fair 》(《斯卡波羅集市》)
由Paul Simon （保羅·西蒙）和Art Garfunkel（加豐凱爾）兩人作詞作曲。
兩人的聲音完美結合，扣人心弦，為片中的故事增色不少。
幾乎每一屆學生，我都利用課間時間，給學生播放過這兩首英文歌曲。雖然第二首廣為流傳，我更喜歡第一首歌曲，曾聽過不同形式的，輕音樂、笛子、鋼琴版等，都喜歡。
