正確的讀音應該為[gā nà]，因為[gā nà]這個音更接近「Cannes」這個法國城市，如果就音譯的准確性而言，應為「嘎納」為好。「戛」在《現代漢語詞典》第五版中只有一個讀音jiá，而在《現代漢語詞典》第六版中，為了尊重影迷和媒體習慣，把「戛納電影節」的「戛」字的注音加了gā。所以戛納這個地名的正確讀法是[gā nà]。
