電影製作中各職務的英文名稱如下：

1、導演-Director

核心職位之一。狹義上的導演負責指導表演和設計鏡頭；廣義上的導演要負責電影拍攝的所有藝術創作部分。

2、副導演-Assistant Director

核心職位之一，分為1st Assistant Director，中文為第一副導演，簡稱1st AD；2nd Assistant Director，中文為第二副導演，簡稱2nd AD。

第一副導演，有時在國內會被被稱為執行導演，是導演具體工作的執行人，主要負責片場的正常運行，以及確保拍攝按照拍攝計劃執行，並製作每日的通告單（call sheet）。

而國際電影製作中導演只需要負責好電影拍攝的任務。在國際化的電影製作中是劇本選擇導演，而不是導演選擇劇本。製片人在電影籌備時還要擔當起選擇演員的任務，在中國大陸這些都是由副導演來完成的。

4、明星陣容

在一部成功的電影中，不僅要有很棒的劇本，很好的故事情節，好的導演，最重要的是有大牌明星的參與。明星是電影中閃亮的焦點，也是電影票房的保障。
