Forrest Gump, the innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. Although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates, we just have to bite into it and get through it even if we don't like it. I just love this movie. We all like to take a time out and sit down with our loved ones, and watch a heart touching movie every once in a while. I was able to take time and sit down, and enjoy and evaluate the movie, "We Were Soldiers." I was able to come to the conclusion that it is a very accurate movie, give or take a few facts. The quality of the cinematography is of great value. The film was indeed satisfying.
The movie was released in 2002. It was one of the most seen movies of that year. It won the ASCAP award and was nominated for three different awards. To be nominated is a privilege in itself. That means it was good enough to win but there was another that was superior in other viewers opinion. Randale Wallace was the writer and director of the film.
