而這部英文原名為《Catch me if you can》的電影被譯為《貓鼠游戲》之時就在一定程度上繼承了我們對於《貓和老鼠》童年記憶中的模糊影印象，那就是，通過高明的博弈手段，通過設計一個把對手的所有思索包含進去的大博弈，弱者可以戰勝強者。這也是我認為《貓鼠游戲》這個譯名勝於其他實在更有名的譯名(諸如《逍遠法外》《我知道你是誰》)的原因。
