The acting is wonderful, Vivian Leigh brought Scarlett to life just as Margaret Mitchell had written her. Vivian's amazing debut performance won her an Oscar. Not to mention that no one could have played a better Rhett Butler than Clark Gable and Hattie McDaniel was captivating as Mammy, winning best supporting actress for her role (the first for an African American actress).

For those of you who watched the movie and fell in love with it as I did, I strongly encourage you to read the book. Although the film is relatively accurate to the novel, (if they had made the film true to the book, it would have been 8 hours long) the book is magnificent and a milestone in American literature. There are more fascinating characters to discover, great action and humor and a better insight into what's going on between Scarlett, Melanie, Rhett and Ashley. There is so much that happens in the novel that isn't even hinted at in the movie. For an example, in the novel Scarlett has 3 children.

The film is timeless; deserving of it's 10 Oscars, and its place in film history. Don't let the length of the movie or the size of the book turn you off, once you get into the story, you'll be hooked.

The film stars a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.

They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single mpling.

"Kung Fu Panda" is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. 對於《Her》，我只是不滿意它的結尾，導演似乎鋪開了一張巨大的網，卻不知從哪裡收。聊了許多命題，每個命題都自己枝蔓開去：思想和肉體的關系。人的自我相處和社會相處？人情感世界的歸屬感？但並沒有什麼可責怪的，在這里口水了這么多，也不清楚該怎麼結尾：「人類情感」這么宏大的問題，能把問題表現生動就不錯了，給出答案，純屬奢望。所只能如電影結尾般，草草營造一點小溫暖，緩解一點小憂傷。

這種感覺，很像和人聊了一次異常坦誠的天，卻不知該如何結束。

    《her》是一部冷門的好電影！好電影為啥還會冷？在於它受眾小！其實《Her》主題是討論人的孤獨，每個人都需要經歷，卻很少有人認真去思考和對待。

    人生而孤獨，一切從心！

    1、孤獨的產生

    男主西奧多和妻子感情不和，只差離婚協議簽字。因為放不下，拖著一年。也在孤獨中徘徊了一年。是妻子凱瑟琳給他帶來幸福，也是她給了他孤寂。西奧多希望妻子做個無憂無慮，一切安好的家庭主婦。可妻子認為自己天生不是那種人。她直率，喜歡寫作。雖然彼此還放不下對方，甚至深愛著對方。但是生活的分歧，讓他們還是選擇離婚。他們選擇離婚不是因為不愛，也不是因為有第三者。只是缺少了理解，生活漸行漸遠。沒有理解的陪伴是沒有意義的。彼此束縛，不如選擇放手。理解不在了，孤獨就來了！

    西奧多的好有艾米是孤獨的另一個映射。她自己拍了一個媽媽熟睡的記錄片，她老公並不理解，還妄加建議。每個人的世界觀不一樣，能理解你的人不多，能理解還能去理解的人幾乎沒有。艾米想上班辛苦回來好好休息，丈夫希望他能把鞋子擺放工整，家裡是井井有條的。兩個人無法彼此理解，艾米選擇了結束八年的婚姻，一個人過。沒有理解的陪伴是痛苦的。彼此傷害，不如選擇離開。理解不在了，孤獨就來了！

    2、思考需要怎樣的陪伴

    和相親女，聊天十分投機。當正要乾柴烈火的時候，女生問到：他是否還會和其他女人發生關系？下次見面什麼時候？男主目前只是想要性，對於陪伴他無法給承諾。最後無疾而終！我們孤單所以需要陪伴，又不僅僅是陪伴！

  3、並不存在完美的陪伴

  後因偶然機會接觸到了os聲線超美的薩曼莎，一個24小時在線，理解自己，支持自己，還能幫助自己工作和事業（幫忙修改書信，幫忙暗中幫忙男主出版第一本書）的滿分女友。而後他發現薩曼莎會偶爾聯系不上，因為系統進化的太快。薩曼莎同時和8316個人交流，和641個人談戀愛。西奧多無法接受。後面因為系統問題，系統要被收回。西奧多和薩曼莎告別，最終又回歸孤獨！

    4、我們不喜歡孤獨，不過最終都會接受孤獨。

    西奧多和女好友艾米兩個孤獨的人在大樓天台仰望星空結束。因為他們都感悟到了：人生而孤獨，一切隨心！劇里原話就是艾米說的：人生苦短，在這當下，我想做的，只是讓自己快樂一點。所以管他呢！

What can I say about Pixar? Amazing?? Perfect?? Got to see this at the Cannes Film Festival in France (went on a trip with my family) and Pixar gives us another instant classic: Up.
The movie focuses on 78-year old man Carl Fredrickson's (voiced by Edward Asner) life who always had a dream of going on a journey to South American to see the wilds of it. He buys thousands of balloons just to attach it to his house to float up in the sky. So, he starts with his journey up in the sky in his house with balloons attached to it. Suddenly, he's not alone and somebody's at the door while flying, it's a boy scout kid named Russell. He invites the boy with him on his journey to South America.
Just brilliant and simple story-telling, beautiful visuals as usual with Pixar, awesome voice work, funny and smart dialogue, beautiful score once again by Michael Giacchino & very, very enjoyable characters. Speaking of characters, the highlight of the film: Dug the Dog. A sort of "robot" dog that will have you have you in a lot of stitches each scene that dog is in and that was the case with me. Simply, one of the funniest characters Pixar ever made. Pete Doctor, one of the four Pixar directors (John Lassester, Andrew Stanton, Brad Bird) who directed Monster's Inc (2001) needs and should get nominated for his clever, genius and smart directing of this but if Stanton didn't get the nods for (Finding Nemo and WALL-E) and Bird for (The Incredibles & Ratatouille) which they should of been, then the Oscars are making another HUGE mistake for not nominating this guy for this movie.
Up is the funniest Pixar movie, funnier than the Toy Story movies, A Bug's Life & Finding Nemo which were the funniest, in my opinion. The movie is not just hilarious, it's emotional and sad at times. Like WALL-E, it focuses on the character feelings but not as magical as WALL-E. Still, Up is full of emotional, fun and hilarious proportions. Your in for a BIG ride in this!!

I watched Hachiko: A Dog』s Story days ago, eyes filling with tear. It』s really a fantasticly moving film.
The plot went as: A college professor (Richard Gere) took in an abandoned dog and they formed an unbreakable bond. The dog arrived daily at the correct time at the station, to meet his owner. After the professor died while away from home, the dog kept vigil waiting for his master for nearly a decade.
To wait for your love for a decade, which contains almost the whole life-time of Hachi, it』s an incredible dedication that we human beings never has. This is why the film strikes us a lot.
No one has the ability to show his love to only one person ring his whole life, let alone make friends with only one people; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without complaining and conciousness of exhaustion. We can』t! However, what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved.
A detail in the movie catches my eyes. One day when professor was on his way to school, Hachi fetched the tennis ball as he was taught years ago. But ring the last several years, he never did like that, because to fetch a ball in this way is not his instinct. Why Hachi did so? He wants to entertain his master for more palatable food, for a hug? I』m afraid not.
Research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in human』s potantial deseases than us do. Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master is going to die because of his heart desease. It』s his only way to hold him back.

I watched a film in computer, the film is named <Ice Princess>.
Although this is a typical commercial film, but deeply touched my heart. Only sticking to dream can we realize to it. I remember when cancy gave up Harvard, she and her mother have such a conversation:

I honestly don't know where to start with this movie. I will say however, that - like many other people - this is the film I've been waiting 20 years to see.
I suppose it's sensible to start with what should be the foundation stone of any cinematic experience - the script. It's cheesy, cliché-ridden, and poorly-structured. Characterisation (especially of the Autobots/Decepticons) is non-existent. Optimus Prime uttering the words "My bad" must go down in history as one of the worst moments in movie history. Actually scratch that - the "lubricating" scene is definitely worse. The writing of human characters is lazy at best, sticking with stereotypes such as the beautiful code-breaker, fat computer whizz, bumbling government agent etc etc. The performances (Shia aside) are instantly forgettable, but a great deal of that comes down to the script and direction. Megan Fox may be a great actress for all I know, but she may as well be a stripper for the purposes of this movie.
The effects are incredible (although not helped by Bay's erratic editing style), but when you've no reason to care about them it results in an empty experience. Effects DON'T MAKE A MOVIE.
With Spielberg as part of this project I allowed myself a little optimism, but it's patently clear that Bay and Co. had no understanding or respect for the Transformers franchise. GIANT "FLIPPING" ROBOTS BLOWING "STUFF" UP this may be, but it is most certainly not Transformers.
